No resteraunt but not needed lots on prater strasse. Enjoyable breakfast spacious seating and from 6.30 to...

Our family of 3 stayed in this hotel for a week over the holidays season. The location is perfect- walking distance from Prater and very close to 2 metro stops. Also 5 min. walk from the S7 train, which goes to/from the airport every 30 min. Next to the hotel there is a Spar supermarket if you want to buy...

Well best way to sum it up was that within 15 minutes of being in my room i was googling to see if my second choice hotel was still available. Upon my checking (after leaving...we did end up staying here) i realised i had the basic room....very depressing room. Also we must have got the room at the very end...

Perfect place to stay in Wien: near the metro station which connect you to the center (two stops to St Stephan Platz). Easy access by car (large car park for hotel guests). And best of all: nice, always smiling staff, ready to advice you about activities in the City. Spacy and always clean rooms and tasty breakfast make your stay...

We stayed in this hotel for a week and I would say they have good breakfast spread with WiFi speed. Place is very clean and staff is friendly and approachable. Hotel is situated in between Praterstern station and Nestroyplatz hence making commuting super easy. There are eateries and super markets near the hotel. There is an Indian restaurant bang opposite...

I spent one night of my business trip in this hotel. I was very satisfied – clean and silent room, parking place (not free), near metro station for travel to the center. I have no problem to come back later.

We spent our Christmas vacation in the Austria classic hotel in Vienna. (We stayed there for a week). The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the U1 and U3 underground stations, and also very close to the old city. The neighborhood is beautiful, safe, with a nice supermarket and restaurants near the hotel. The staff was very friendly and...

Absolutely amazing hotel, the location was simply outstanding walkable to the city centre, underground accessible within a stones throw of the front entrance. The buffet breakfast was sumptuous, fresh bread, fresh coffee and plenty of choice and refills. The room was better than expected, which catered for our family needs; a great room size for four adults. The hotel staff...

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
