Nice, clean pension. beautiful views of the street and just 5 minutes to the center of the culture. absolute silence in the night and sleep was very convenient. parking is15 € a night but the car you have in the security. very much recommend this pension.

Central location. Very clean room and facilities. Friendly staff. Couldn't ask for more from a pension. Proximity of metro and mostly walking distance (if you're okay with walking about 15-20 minutes) to all the stores and downtown attractions makes it a winner.

Everytime I go to Vienna I sleep in Hargita. Good rates, friendly staff, with or without breakfast. The greatest thing is the location next to Mariahilferstrasse - shopping, restaurants, five minutes from St. Stephan square by U-Bahn. I will be back, greetings from Prague :-)

We booked this pension for three nights as our other accommodation choice could not provide all six nights we requested (there was a LOT happening in Vienna while we were there). Basic accommodation but spotlessly clean and absolutely adequate for our needs. Comfy beds, good reading lights, enough space to spread out our suitcases, a small hanging clothes area, table,...

Perfect Location on the main walking street. Close to the metro Station Zierglergasse. Rooms clean but it will be cleaned few times in a week and also towels will be change not all the days. I got the room with the bathroom inside (most of the other have sharing bathroom). Internet wifi is very slow and during the night is...

It was my wife birthday, so we took a 3 days trip in Vienna. Ideally placed in the city between the downtown and the Schönbrunn Palace. Peacefull place in an ancient residence with a very careful host

I stayed at Pension Hargita with a friend in October 2014. We were a little hesitatnt as we had read negative reviews about unhelpful staff and hot/stuffy rooms, but did not have any problems! We called last minute to begin our stay one night earlier, and they were able to accomodate us with a few hours notice, even though it...

The four of us spent our New Year's holidays in Vienna, and I must say that staying at Hargita was one of the key factors that made our vacation extremely pleasant. We were completely satisfied with the accomodation; rooms were very clean and neat, with clean bathrooms, very well heated and equipped with super comfortable beds. Location is nothing short...

This was our second stay at this hotel and we'd probably stay here again. The price and location are very good for Vienna however, it's not for those looking for luxurious accommodations. We stayed 4 nights this trip and opted for the week-long U-Bahn pass. From this location we easily traveled all over the city. We opted for the 4...

I have stayed at Pension Hargita TWICE, in January 2007 and in March 2013. Both times, I was impressed by its quiet location, friendly staff, comfort, and of course, only 50 meters from the subway. The price is fair (i have traveled both alone and with a group!) and they handled both occasions well. Only a few metro stops from...

Staying in Neubau

Neighbourhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
