We stayed there 2 nights in the Christmas season last year. We booked one day before, so the price was really good. It is in walking distance from the city centre. The rooms are modern and clean. We had a room where the bathroom had glass wall, it is very good for couples, but maybe not as convenient for a...

Small, new very kind hotel with good location in Vienna and very friendly staff. Breakfast was a bit difficult with late refills but hotel room was nice. I can just recommend it! Super value/price rate!

Stayed here for 2 nights with my fiance. The hotel staff was friendly and the room was quiet and clean. The big let down is the way the bathroom is designed. It's one of those modern open planned bathrooms with the shower and toilet in the same area. The problem is the drainage is poor and the whole bathroom floor...

The hotel was nice and elegant, receptionist and waitress were very kind and cute! It's near the subway so it's very useful to get around the city. It's like 20 minutes walking to the Ring and all around there are many restaurants and pubs where you can eat! I liked it very much! The only negative thing was the breakfast,...

we stayed for 6 nights ,we had room 111 which had patio doors which was a nice feature instead of just a window, looking into the courtyard below. we have stayed in 3 hotels this holiday and this was the smallest room, it had everything we needed and also had the cheapest mini bar , though we didn't use this,...

The hotel is very nice located, on a quiet street near the principal atraction from the center of the city! Only 10-15 min step walking. The room was very comfortable and we travel with an 11 year old child who sleep with us in a extra large double bed. Also was very clean and the staff very kindly. The hotel...

This is a 3.5 star hotel. Not quite a four but better than a three. The location is not central but it is close to the efficient, clean and dependable Vienna underground that takes only a few minutes to reach the city centre. The hotel is very modern and best described as compact. Bedrooms are a decent size with big...

Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are quite small but nice, annoying shower but as it doesn't have a screen and wets the whole toilet areas etc but apart from that it's a good room. Advertised online as a free breakfast but actually costs 13 euro.

I had requested a top floor quiet room and was pleasantly surprised on arrival that we were also upgraded! the staff were very pleasant and accomadating, and buffet breakfast was very good. Location was very near a Metro station( Pilgramgasse) and also bus route ( 13a) to Hauptbanhof where we had travelled to and from Budapest. lots of nice bars,...

Nice hotel, good standard, easy access to the subway station and pretty much anywhere you want to go in Vienna. Updated, clean rooms, very friendly and helpfiul staff and 24 hr reception service. The breakfast buffet is nothing special, but has a nice assortment of breads, pastries, boiled and scambled eggs, meats, cheeses, jam and cereals.

Thank Ann H J

Staying in Margareten

Neighbourhood Profile
This former working class district blends hip eateries and avant-garde cinema with a time travel into 1950s Vienna. Feel the district’s pulse at Margaretenhof and Schlossquadrat. 19th-century Margaretenhof is a local icon, yet has very non-Viennese architecture with its brick structure and cast-iron verandas. The nearby urban Renaissance castle of Schlossquadrat houses several restaurants. In the summer you can sit in its romantic shady courtyard over Schnitzel and Kracherl (traditional fizzy syrup). Siebenbrunnenplatz and its surrounding shops and grocery stores have remained virtually unchanged in the past 60 years: taking a walk there is like stepping into a 1950s film set. Speaking of movies, head to avant-garde cinema Filmcasino in the evening. It often stages foreign language cult films.
