The staff was both professional and pleasant, which often is the case in Austria. The room was stylishly decorated, and the ambiance of the entire establishment was relaxed and elegant. We spent plenty of time in the lobby, and were constantly offered pastries (after all,...More

Hotel close to everything, walking distance to downtown and a short uber drive to the opera and the Belvedere. Service was unmatched, hands down one of the best hotels we've stayed in. The restaurant next door is a mist visit.More

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The
Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.

We found it to be within walking distance of the main attractions. We also used the Hop On/Hop Off bus. The concierge ordered us a taxi to go to the palace for the evening concert. That's a little further out.
