Very bad, very dirty, very old. The room hasn't been cleaned during the journey. Dust everywhere.Do they know how important is cleaning every day the rooms in a hotel? I mean...ok is a 3 stars hotel...but is doesn't mean anything. I have been in different 3 stars hotel...but at least the basic stuff must be done! I've got the impression...

This is an old building with high ceilings, concrete stairs and large windows that really open. The room was spacious, light and airy and quiet. Just a stroll to the Prater too. The "kitchenette " was minimal. Breakfast was included and good. Overall great value for a comfortable old hotel stay.

We decided to go for this as the breakfast was included and we booked last minute! Big mistake, breakfast room was full of flies on stale bread, sweaty cheese and cold coffee! Also the hotel claims parking, we called 30 minutes in advance and asked if we could park in their "garage" they said yes. We arrived to them saying...

Building is old and kinda lovely but it is neglected. Room is cleaned but not clean. Free Internet is great thing to have in the room not only on the paper. Here you can only dream about good WiFi. Room 44 is big. It has even a kitchen which is useless due the lack of pots, pans, plates, spoons, forks...

Staff and breakfast was good. We stayed in a room on 3rd floor and there was a stove but no pots or pans, so kinda defeated the purpose. Was poorly cleaned, lots of dust behind and under furniture. Our curtain had some kind of gross stain on it. Wifi was non existent.

We stayed in this hotel in May for three nights. The interior of the Hotel is in serious need of an upgrade. although the rooms were clean, the beds, sheets and pillows were very dilapidated. when we asked for extra pillows the guy at the front desk just informed us, that there were none available. Breakfast was very basic. although...

This hotel, from the outside, looked like a traditional Viennese building and the staff were all very helpful. The first disappointment was the sheets; some of them had brown stains on them yet the man at the desk sorted it out. The room itself was quite nice and authentic with high ceilings and creaky floors. Breakfast wasn't varied but still...

I stayed here for 2 nights with my family. Got the room at 4th floor. Surprisingly it was a 2 floored unit, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a hall and a kitchen. Storage cabinets are aplenty in the unit. Maybe a bit excessive. Kitchen utensils were available but there were no pots nor pans to cook in. Luckily i bought...

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
