I stayed only one night. I got all I sked for and the receptionists were very helpful. I went also to the gym that wasn't so big, but enough for 1 or 2 people togerher without problems. I didn't have breakfast but the perfume coming from the bar when I went away was very nice

Nice new modern hotel, clean and friendly staff. Location was excellent. Short distance to Metro station and with Metro you can easily explore the city. Did not have breakfast at the hotel. 15€ price for the Breakfast. Wifi free and covers all of the hotel* *Our room 412 had a poor wifi connection. I spent four nights in Vienna with a friend, and we each had a single room here. The rooms were small, but comfortable and with excellent bathrooms. Breakfast was included in the price, and was very good and plentiful - though for someone who wanted English tea, the samovar offered either lukewarm water from the pot at the top or...

This used to be one of my favorite hotels. Nice people at the front desk. But last week I was shocked with the arrogance of the management. My trip to Vienna was cancelled last minute as a result of serious medical emergency and the hotel management refused to cooperate. They could charge me for one night only instead they charged...

Dear Mr W., thank you for still taking time to comment on our property, which we very much regret you did not have the opportunity of visiting this time. Unfortunately, you chose to take advantage of a special, very low rate which is explicitly not flexible. Any risks resulting to you by opting for a non flexible deal cannot be...

The staff are extremly friendly and helpful. They explained to me all the facilities I could have taken advantage of at the hotel but I was too busy sightseeing to do so. I had a room facing the courtyard with a queen sized bed. The room felt contemporary and clean. The bathroom bright and warm! In general the room was...

This hotel is located right near the museum quarter and is very close to everything and a subway is nearby for any longer trips in the city! Aleksandra and her staff took great care of my gf and I and we really had an enjoyable stay in this beautiful city. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

The room freezing with a bed like a cot. Preposterous. First hint ones in for a struggle; no doorman and a flight of stairs to reception. The staff courteous until I couldn't sleep. The first time in 3 or four DECADES I've asked to be moved the answer NO unless I paid. Try to reason: the answer GOOD. When that's...

Staying in Josefstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Josefstadt
The eighth district is an older generation’s Vienna at its finest: and this is what makes it popular with locals of all ages. Josefstadt has theatre, small independent shops, romantic passageways, neighbourhood cafés with regular clientele, church squares, town palaces and shady communal gardens. Trendy hangouts have conquered distinctive places such as the Old General Hospital (Altes AKH) and the vaults of overground U6. Theater in der Josefstadt on Josefstädter Strasse is the district’s cultural epicentre. Even if your German isn’t good enough to watch a play, you can marvel at the typical Biedermeier building and take a glimpse into the foyer. Lange Gasse houses an iconic local restaurant at its corner, as well as a legendary sweet shop and a bustling neighbourhood market every Saturday. For small palace atmosphere and a different view on Vienna’s history, make your way to Schönborn garden palace (Palais Schönborn), which houses the Museum of Folk and Folk Art (Volkskundemuseum). Maria-Treu-Platz, with its summer outdoor cafés facing baroque church Maria Treu, and the historic passageway of Lerchenfelder Strasse 13 hide top spots for insiders.
