this hotel is too far, too small, and the front desk staff is not helpful. stay in town where you can walk to the sites. the price, however, is good so if price is your guide, may be ok. long walk to town.

I was here only for two nights - nothing special, quite OK. Their taxi service to the airport is a good deal. Food is good. Asked for other pillow, response was that they never heard before of such weird request (and did not have another pillow).

I use to stay in this hotel during my travels through Vienna for both business and leisure trips. Well situated in the center of Vienna, it offers both a wonderful palace, ideal for conferences and business meetings, and a modern hotel. Large comfortable and clean rooms, welcoming staff, good gym, many facilities for business travellers., private parking. Excellent!

The hotel was clean and modern, and we were very comfortable. Individual fluffy duvets and standard modern hotel fittings. Breakfast had a good international choice with good coffee and helpful staff. Air conditioning struggled with the Viennese heat at first, but OK after we reported the problem to reception. Tram D at Bauernfeldplatz, which was five minutes from hotel, was...

I really felt like a prince in the Strudlhof. Great quiet rooms, fantastic breakfast buffet with not so ordinary picks like fresh salmon, multiple yoghurt drinks and all pastry you could possibly eat. Location on the other hand is not in the very city centre.

From the moment we checked in I knew that I made a good choice when I made the reservation. Everything was exactly as it supposed to be. The room was spotless for our entire stay, breakfast excellent and personnel very polite and discreet. We really had nothing to complain about. Room was bigger that I was expecting and, from my...

We stayed here for 4 nights wile attending a conference in Vienna. It is a relatively new hotel which was nice and our superior room was large for Austria. The amenities were more 3 star than 4, not nice little bottles of shampoo but the budget soap dispensers on the wall. The bathroom and toilet (not in the bathroom) had...

We are a family of four, with a teenage and adult son. We arrived at the Strudlhof to a very warm welcome, after a very long drive. We were offered a suite which was immaculately clean and comfortable. The grounds of the hotel were charming and it was pleasant to sit out in th evening. The breakfast was excellent and...

Hard to write review about this hotel but I will stress that the property is modern, in a very quiet residential area across the road from Liechtenstein museum Region 9 and imaculately clean. Had bad experience on arriving as they had overbooked. This hotel building is similar to Ibis Hotels. On entering there is small foyer with reception desk, on...

Staying in Serviten Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
Serviten Quarter
The Serviten Quarter is an inner city neighbourhood with many private charms. Popular with French and American expats, Sigmund Freud’s neighbourhood boasts his former practice and apartments, now turned into a museum. Stunning Liechtenstein Garden Palace houses the private art collection of Prince Adam of Liechtenstein. Romantic Strudlhofstiege close to the palace is a fantastic photo spot. With their small independent shops and eateries, the main streets of Liechtensteinstrasse, Porzellangasse and Servitengasse reveal much of this area’s character. Peek into baroque Serviten Church, with its richly decorated dome and walls. At the Old Jewish cemetery in Seegasse you can see one of the most precious cemeteries in Europe with tombstones almost 500 years old.
