The hotel was nice, nice bedrooms and i almost felt like home. Its not big and its a quiet hotel. Vardø isnt big so you can walk to the store, pub, school and resturant. I dont have anything to complain about!

The hotel was clean and quiet. Staff were most friendly and helpful. They smiled a lot!! Our room was comfortable, clean, quiet, and overlooked the harbor. We had an opportunity to do some bird photography from the window! The bathroom floor was heated. The breakfast was fantastic! There were several types of breads, meats, cheeses, and juices, including smoothies. We...

Stayed in the hotel for one night and day; On arrival (22:00) it was not possible anymore to eat in the restaurant; The room look more like a hostel then a hotel. Bed was OK. The curtain was not completely covering the window. The bathroom looked old, but was clean. The breakfast on the other hand was perfect. A big...

My room, which overlooked the harbor, was spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good; there was plenty of variety to meet a variety of taste and dietary needs. Nespresso pod coffee was a treat. While not luxurious, this hotel is comfortable (I stayed 3 nights) and I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed for 3 days with a group of 7 birdwatchers. I shared a ground floor room, accessed by two short stairways, with a colleague and people walk between the rooms and the harbour which could be a little embarrassing. First floor rooms overcome these minor problems. All the usual facilities were in the room so we could make coffee,...

We stayed for two nights here to look for wildlife, taking a break on a Hurtigruten trip. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the quay and has a great view of the very colourful harbour. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. Sadly the restaurant was closed for refurbishment during our stay but they still put on...

This hotel houses an excellent restaurant. Fish (kveite), whale (hvalbiff) and entrecôte tasted great and were beautifully presented. Nice views towars the bay. We only dined there, so did not try the rooms or breakfast. Recommend it to all who wants a good restaurant.

This hotel is centrally located and right next to the Port. If you are a Hurtigruten fan, this is the ideal place to be as from the rooms you get an excellent view of the boats. The furnitures are not the newest and the bathroom is extremely small, but the room was clean. The breakfast buffet offered a basic selection....

Vardo hotel has good location is Vardo. The staff is great and the hotel's restaurant served us a good basic breakfast and also a nice dinner with local specialities. Hotel's WiFi worked well, rooms were tidy and beds were comfortable.

Spent 2 nights here in early march, we had a lovely view of the harbour from our room. Staff were very helpful and most accommodating. A constant supply of free coffee, lovely warm rooms and excellent food, their cod with a seafood sauce and vegetables is the best fish dish I have ever tasted anywhere and would definitely recommend.
