The Skagen exceeded expectations. Responsive friendly communications make up for any dated common areas. Room had newer furnishings; very comfortable. Breakfast was yummy. Walked to airport. Great value.

I only stayed one night during my travels but would happily recommend it to anyone wanting reasonably priced accommodation in Bodo. The Skagan is a quaint hotel. Sure it doesn't have the flashiness of the big chain hotels but it doesn't have the price either. The room was very comfortable and the shower was great (especially after being in the...

This is a small hotel near downtown Bodo, it is located directly behind the Radisson Blu. This hotel is just minutes from the airport and close enough to downtown to park your car and walk to everything. Parking is free as long as you ask for a permit from the front desk. We were there from 20-25 August which means...

Clean rooms. Good service. Privat parking on the street. Elevator. Close to restaurants. Restaurant and bar at the hotel also. I liked the breakfast best. Free Wifi in the room. It was perfect for me just for stay one night.

My partner and I stayed at Skagen Hotel earlier this month for 2 nights on our way to Lofoten and for 1 night on our return. I refer to it as a Proper hotel mainly because of the staff. They are very friendly, always have time to help with advice on places to eat, etc. And the little extra services...

this is a very nice friendly hotel. I believe it's a family business and its a good alternative to the big chains in Bodø. I got a last min cancellation...it was small single and near the reception so plenty of corridor noise...but....was a nice room. I suspect the proper upstairs rooms are much quieter. good breakfast and coffee.

Not much is wrong, but not much is great, either. I might be overly critical now, but I believe in using the scale. First the good things: perfect location, in the very center of the town, very helpful and flexible staff, a very nice reception lounge, where you get free coffee, tea, fruit and waffles! The rooms are just ordinary,...

This hotel was good value for money and a good stop over when waiting for the ferry to the Lofoten Islands. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room and a good breakfast for a reasonable price. No off road parking for the motorcycle, but the area was safe enough.

A typical Norway hotel. The rooms are small and a bit outdated. The room rate was pricey for a weekend stay but included a light buffet dinner, afternoon snack and full breakfast. As food is excruciatingly pricey in Norway, the food inclusions made the price work out to be reasonable. Front desk service was exceptionally good. Hotel is within walking...

Hello It is good to hear that our meals are appreciated.. :-)

Nice hotel that serves up some if the quintessential Danish cakes. The place is popular that our host had to book tea a few weeks before we arrived. Recommend anyone who visit Skagen to at least have tea even if you do not plan to stay here.
