If you are looking for a classic finer place, Briatol is no 1 in Oslo. Food is absolutely great, but the best thing is the atmosphere. The place is from around 1910 and still tip top. We had Christmas dinner. You have a formal and informal part of the hotel. If you are casual dressed I recommend informal place. Food... More

So keep in mind there is not much alcohol in bar drinks in Norway. However, if you want good food, a piano player and perhaps the nicest place to sit in Oslo, sit in the Hotel Bristol lobby! Great central place to warm up after a winter tour of the Xmas market.

Great location, right in the centre of Oslo and walking distance to amenities in the city centre. Rooms are comfortable with plenty of charging options including USB points and wi-fi seemed fast. L'Occitane toiletries with separate conditioner are a nice touch. Breakfast is good with lots of choice. Overall, good value for money and I would stay here again.

WE stayed here two nights with our Fjord package. Being a multi-star i expected more i guess. It was an older crowd and it was stuffy. It is a historic hotel, i get it, but it felt historic. Like 1920's. The room was fine, the decor was just not my taste. For the price we would not have stayed here... More

I had a 3 night stay from 11th - 14th December 2015. Initially I was very pleased with the room it was pretty and with good facilities and en-suite. However after the first night I realised there was no heating in the room - at all. After the first night, while i was at breakfast, the air-con was inadvertently left... More

Great location. Very easy to walk to all the main sites and restaurants...etc. Hotel room was a good size. There was an error in checking in and staff called to apologize and brought a fruit basket in addition to correcting, which was a nice touch. Breakfast buffet had great selection but very crowded (at least for a Sat morning).

I have stayed at this hotel several times, and they always deliver. They have an unique eye for details in everything they do. The rooms are elegantly decorated in a classic style, and are very comfortable. It is an old hotel, so not everything is brand new, but it is well kept. I recommend ordering breakfest in bed with their... More

Stayed at Bristol twice and I have a feeling I will do it several more times. Lovely helpful staff, great breakfast buffet, very cozy rooms. I would have liked a bigger fitness area with a few more machines. First time i stayed in a single room and sure they are small but big enough. The double rooms are lovely and... More

Absolutely what you would expect in the heart of the Theater District in Oslo--a beautiful old world hotel with great charm. The staff are attentive from the moment you arrive. The room was very comfortable---bed and pillows heavenly. Loved having a window that you could open for fresh air. L'OCCITANE shampoo, conditioner and soap were outstanding surprises. The breakfast buffet... More

Nice hotel. Tiny, yet tastefully furnished rooms.  Free breakfast.  Free WiFi.  Friendly staff.  The front desk carries the Oslo Pass. The downside was that our room was across the street from a nightclub that was open until 3:30 am every night.
