Classic up scale breakfast: Norwegian newspapers (including Bergens Tidende) no international (excluding the tentacles of soft power chinese imperialism). One loud american tourist, many silent and sombre scandinavian businesspeople. 4 styles of eggs, one style of machine coffee.
Pros: very gd breakfast and dining area. gd location.
Cons: old rooms with very small bathrooms. park at shopping mall and walk over.

Stayed overnight mid October. Hotel is adjacent to the station which was really convenient but no noise whatsoever. Warm welcome on reception and great service in the bar. Only a few minutes easy walk to Bryggen and the old town and cathedral.
The very name tells you that hotel is just next to train station, virtually across the street from the one of side entrances in/to station. However, there is no train noise, just supply trucks coming into the street and catering for needs of this and...More
A very nice, central, historic and resently updated Hotel! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the Hotel bar is a Nice and relaxing place. The dining room is beautyful, the breakfast is top notch and give you a great start of the day!
