Very well run and welcoming Bed & Breakfast in the heart of Bergen. Walking distance everywhere. Awesome views (book the "Balcony Room"). The host is wonderful and sees to that you meet whatever weather Bergen has in store for you with a hearty breakfast.

We stayed here recently this October with our daughter in the family apartment. The house is beautifully situated if you don't have a car as bars and restaurants are an easy five minute stroll away. The apartment was spacious enough and very private and we enjoyed Jannike's beautiful breakfasts in the morning with pretty views over the old harbor and...

The title of the review may be a bold claim as I have only spent two days in Bergen. The hotel/ hostel is located in a quaint old brick building perched on the side of a hill overlooking the city. The views are breathtaking (for the money) and if you can nab rooms 5 (which also has a balcony) or...

My wife and I really enjoyed staying here on our trip. It is walking distance to all of the main areas of Bergen and was really comfortable. We stayed in the Balcony room, which was definitely worth the extra money. The room was huge and the balcony was really nice to relax on and look at the city. The Pension...

On the day I checked out, which i had to leave early, Yonica noticed I have been borrowing hair dryer, she left it out on the night before just for me. She packed my breakfast for me. She even helped me with my laundry. on the...

We spent 4 nights in this lovely guesthouse on the hillside. The rooms were simple and clean, with share bathroom and toilets. Breakfast is included and provides a nice assortment of meats, cheeses, breads, eggs and jams to get started for the day. As already mentioned, the establishment is up a steep embankment, so it is recommended for those that...

You will find more modern places in Bergen, but this place has charm and location. The building is quite old but in relative good shape, its like coming home to an old relative. Its just a short walk up from the funicule station. The breakfast was very good with way more food then we could eat.

We, my 2 teen aged kids (boy & girl) had the loft family room. Even though we had a bit of a time finding it due to crazy side of Bergen streets, it was wonderful. Be ready to have a quaint experience. Circular stairs (of course) up to the 3rd floor. The facilities were on the 2nd floor and the...
