This is a family-run hotel which has been in the business for a long time and it shows. The service is exceptional, the building is beautiful, and there is a calm air of comfort and style in the whole place. My bathroom was gorgeous. Yes, it's on a hill - almost everything in Bergen is on a hill - but...

This is a delightful hotel, close to the Bergen center, with comfortable rooms and great breakfast. It was particularly nice to come out of the cold and to have tea and brownies in the dining room. We had a room on the third floor with an excellent view of Mt. Floyen.

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night for visiting friends in town. The room was big, the bathroom clean and good and the breakfast was nice with a lot of home made stuff. The window in our room was facing a street that obviously "everyone" used for coming home after a Saturday night partying, but the hotel provided ear...

This little hotel was amazing. The owner was so welcoming and helpful (umbrella!). (and her English was great) Our room and the lobby were very homey and cozy but also very nice and clean. Floor warmers in the bathroom too. Breakfast in the morning was awesome. Homemade smoothies, jam, bread. Even had gluten free bread. Above and beyond. Location was...

Great setting a short walk uphill from the train station. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Away from busy waterfront. Easy walking access to ferries and train. Recommend hiking in the hills behind Bergen.

Feels like staying in someones traditional but modern home. Really great service, breakfast and everything. Nice to stay in a hotel that does not feel like every other hotel, but has its own character for sure.

This is a vey nice hotel. The good location (near a quite and beautiful park, Relfagbygget of University of Bergen, a delicious Thai restaurant and not far from the city centre), offering very delicious homemade breakfast (I most like homemade Granola, jams, crisp breads, scrambled eggs), and most important is good service (the waitresses are very friendly).

This is an excellent hotel. The location is a little further out of Bergen however it is only a 15 minute walk to the centre of town and less to get to the main bus and train station. The breakfast is awesome! The musli is really good and there is free coffee, tea and the best homemade brownies after...

It’s a family owned hotel famous for it’s personal touch & pleasant atmosphere. A place where you get an ambiance entirely different from regular chain of hotels. There are limited rooms on two floors in an attractive traditional building . The staircase is bit narrow & congested for carrying the luggage. The breakfast, which is complimentary is really excellent. Enjoyed...

The hotel is in a very quiet and pleasant neighborhood. The historic center is about a 15 minute walk. The attendants are very friendly and helped us with the parking tickets. As the hotel is in an old building, the rooms are small and the stairs are narrow, making it difficult to carry luggage. The breakfast is simple but good.
