We stayed in La Tournerie this August/September and had a wonderful holiday. The small couples-house was already taken, but we were welcome to rent the 4-person cottage du Lucé for the same price. A nice quiet place, our cottage was a bit apart from the other houses, we liked that. Pool is really beautiful. A lot of other stuff to...

Turning into the shady drive at Maison Borges we were immediately overwhelmed by the beauty of the place. The gardens are attractively set out and the 'maison principal' is set off nicely by the lovely old stone buildings within the grounds. The English / American owners are friendly, interesting people - well travelled with many a tale to tell. Somehow...

we have just returned from out second holiday in La Tournerie and can honestly say we have been made as welcome as if we had visited old Friends. The gites are so lovingly put together with so much thought put in to every last Detail. Thank you very much Carolyn and Toni, this was most certainly not our last visit.

I came to visit friends and I was thrilled to find a beautiful, peaceful retreat in the midst of a quiet rural area - small fields of grapes, clean air, clear water, great affordable food and wine close by. You can relax by the pool or garden, or make short trips to small and large sea side towns, roman ruins,...

We stayed in the Longhouse (probably succeeding the previous reviewer) in August this year with our girls aged 12 and 9. We too booked this place before we read last year's reviews and were concerned by some of the comments, particularly those relating to children, but decided to give it a go. On the whole the complex (which consists of...

Stayed at the Longhouse for 7 days in August. Two adults and two children aged 3 & 6. Absolutely lovely time and the kids loved it. We were only asked not to use the pool before 10am which is perfectly understandable and is a very good idea IMHO as it starts the day out nice and relaxed. The owners were...

Only just after we made our booking we saw the review of Geemag - so we were a little bit anxious to go there. Sadly it appeared all true, even though we did not get any complaints about our children ourselves, the lady of the house was not very hospitable during our stay. There was another family who did get...

“All are lovely. The best depends on numbers in party, I'd suggest. We stayed in La Source, a large 1 bedroom cottage.”

“We last year we stayed in the Dovecote, which is private and and tucked away and all on one level, this year we stayed in L'Atelier, which has the best sun sets from the balcony. We are returning and staying in the long house, which has a massive balcony.”
