We stayed at the Azia after our hotel/holiday was cancelled the day before. We purely booked here because we attended a wedding and the majority of the guests (our friends) were staying here and we didn’t have time to mess about. We are so glad we ended up at this hotel after looking at our original hotel (Leonardo Laura, next door). We arrived late and check in was quick and easy. Our room was beautiful and we had some snacks and a bottle of wine waiting for us. We had a pool and sea view room. What won the room over for me is the window from the sleeping area to the bathroom - so if you like to watch your partner shower than your winning (there is a blind so you don’t have too).
The pool area is big and the swim up bar is decent serving lots of different alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. There is also an adult only pool around the corner with beautiful views.
The entertainment was very basic but that was purely down to Covid 19. There was a live performer that we saw once, but background music was on any other time we were there. Given the amount of people in the hotel I don’t think there can be any arguments about this.
Food was good, breakfast was always the same but good. Lunch was a little different everyday and the evening food was always themed (Asian/Mexican/Italian/Cypriot). We did eat at one of the a la carte (the Asian restaurant) which are on site and the food was very nice but the service was awful which was the only disappointment of the stay.
The staff (in particular Ioanna) could not do enough for you, checked every morning if there was anything she could do to make your stay better.
Seen some comments on here about the taxi company that the hotel order for you being a rip off but we used 3 different companies and they all charged €12 to get us to the harbour/back.
I would not hesitate in going back!

We extended our holiday in Cyprus by 2 extra days and booked the Azia. When looking at the negative reviews i was a bit worried as if you look at my profile i have over 500 reviews so i do rely on reviews when booking hotels.
So the hotel is beautiful, very tropical with vines hanging from each floor, a nice centre piece and nice large marble tiles. The front desk staff are amazing, always did everything they could to assist us. Very friendly and greeting us like we are used to in Dubai hotels.
The pool is very large, clean and has a nice swim up bar with very nice cocktails. Water is a bit cold but i think all hotels are the same in Cyprus.
You can choose to tan on the pool sunloungers, or in the lush gardens with sunloungers on the grass or by the sea on the cliff edge (my choice) The view is amazing, so peaceful and with a stunning view.
I strongly recommend the massage, it was amazing!!! The girl i think she is from Georgia is unbelievable!! my back has never felt so good.
We chose the jacuzzi room and i would recommend that to anyone!! The jacuzzi temp can be set so you can have it cooler but i left it on max (35c) and i cannot describe the view of watching the sunset over the coast in a hot tub from our balcony! The room is very modern with a bali style feel with the glass wardrobes, ropes and bamboo furniture. Bathrooms are very well designed with a 6 cornered wall mirror and very nice blue mood lights.
Breakfast was amazing, such a beautiful layout with professional chefs who take great care in cleaning and organising the food. The quality of the breakfast was very nice, nothing was soggy or bland or dry it was very nice quality.
The grounds of the hotel are filled with palm trees and tropical gardens and i cannot fault the hotel at all in terms of the settings, it really is a beautiful hotel.
I only have 2 let downs with the hotel. The double bed is 2 singles put together, which are difficult to sleep in as one of you is going to fall in the gaps.
The second was the OKU restaurant. My dish was amazing very nice quality but my partner did not like the sushi, she sad it was very ordinary and nothing special for the price.
Apart from these 2 things everything else was perfect and we 100% will be back to Azia when we come back to Cyrpus!

This is a great hotel. There is a strong culture of customer care, consequently every staff member, regardless of role - whether receptionist, waiter, waitress, pool staff, bar staff, cleaner, chef, etc., are friendly, polite and always helpful.
One of the key attributes of this hotel, and there are many, is the very high quality of the food.
The standard of the main buffet restaurant is exceptionally good and you can enjoy your meal under huge weeping fig trees, providing both shade and a lovely environment.
During breakfast the highly visible and competent Guest Relations Manager speaks to daily to all guests individually to check that everything is okay, even checking that the pillows are sufficiently comfortable, and swiftly addresses any issues.
A basic twin room is adequate in size, not spacious. Cleaning of rooms is of a very high standard; approx. 45 mins spent on the room. Mine was ne ver untidy to start with! A complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, half bottle of red and some fruit was in the room on arrival - a nice touch.
The pool area is spacious and very clean. Beyond the pool is a small quiet area equipped with sunbeds which overlooks the sea . A five minute walk takes you to a sandy beach where some sunbeds are reserved for Azia guests.
It is rare that I visit the same hotel more than once, but this hotel offers excellent value for money and a level of customer care that I have not often experienced, so would not hesitate to visit again. First class!

We are now on day 8 in this fabulous place & really delighted with it. The room is lovely, very clean and beautifully decorated, with a little garden overlooking the sea. We would get fabulous sunset views every night but we prefer sundowners in the cocktail bar!
The pool area is lovely, lots of space & very comfortable loungers, easy to get shade or sun with a good view of the sea. The swim up bar is a lovely feature which delights our children (& us!) and serves drinks & pool snacks all day.
We have found the service excellent, every member of staff is helpful, friendly and really concerned that we have a good holiday. I called before I left the UK to book direct and they could not have been more helpful.
The food is great, lots of choice for adults & children, with a couple of a la carte options which were good. There is a different theme every night & they manage some really authentic flavours with Italian, Pan Asian etc.
Everything looks exactly like it does on the website!
Given this is Covid Summer the hotel is quiet, maybe 15-20% occupancy, and they have scaled back on the entertainment programme (which is fine by me) but there have still been activities & games for kids, and some evening music. Fewer of the a la carte restaurants are open, but the pool, spa & everything else is open & there are no restrictions to using any facilities except the gym (you have to book)
The Covid measures are really good, lots of sanitiser, staff in masks & gloves for the buffet. So it’s safe but unobtrusive. Very few of the guests (like 2!) are wearing masks which suits me, I don’t want a holiday in a hospital. I think if you are looking to be surrounded by people in masks and really heavy duty Covid measures you are better off at home.
This has turned out to be a lovely stress free holiday in a lovely hotel, with great staff, an unexpected treat for us after a lockdown Spring / Summer. I can’t recommend Azia highly enough.
Note on getting into Cyprus:
Children under 12 don’t need to be tested, but they do need a flight pass.
To get the adult flight pass you have to apply 24 hours before, and have a negative test available to upload at that time, so take your test as early as you can in the 72 hours before.
The NHS test is acceptable but you will need to be able to scan & upload both the appt confirmation & result emails.
It is best to bring everything printed out.
You can’t take the option to get tested on arrival unless you are a Cypriot National or a diplomat.
We received calls after we arrived claiming to be from the Cyprus Ministry of health, but it’s a scam.

Where do I start!
We arrived late on a Saturday and were warmly welcomed by reception staff and promptly shown to our rooms which were clean well appointed and spacious. We were staying half board but when we arrived for dinner the service had just finished and the team were cleaning down. However after a quick chat with Nino the catering manager a lovely salad and barbeque food meal was provided for us. we really appreciated that as it meant the staff had to stay on a bit longer to serve us, this set the tone for the holiday as all the staff were brilliant!!
The next morning we discussed rooms with the other couple travelling with us and went to reception to enquire about a room change for a sea view (we were facing the road). Alan took time with us to discuss our options and showed us some other rooms we chose 352 as it had a panoramic sea and mountain view looking towards Coral bay and it overlooked one of the pools.
Due to the pandemic there are only one or two restaurants and bars open but, we enjoyed the food in the restaurant very much (a bit too much I think!) the head chef (sorry, I didn't get his name) is very much on top of his game. From theme nights to breakfast everything was to a very high standard with regular refresh changes throughout service. I don't get how anyone could leave a bad review on this place.
The pool service was great with the guys behind the bar working flat out and the servers running around the pools nonstop!
Lastly a very big thanks to Vasily and the bar service team in the Cava bar, great service but rubbish jokes. Thanks Vasily! We will be back and would recommend the hotel for couples and families.

We had a fantastic week at Azia Resort. Staff is very attentive and polite and they pay attention to details. Plenty of vegetarian dishes on the A la carte and buffet options. There were a lot of families with children at the premises however the way rooms are set if you choose to use the adult pool you do not get disturbed by noise at all. Cleanliness and strict measures of distancing made us feel safe. I would definitely recommend Azia for a relaxing holiday. We will definitely be back.

We are staying as a family at the Azia resort and spa. It’s a beautiful location, the hotel is spotless and rooms are a good size and relatively up to date. Staff are really attentive and welcoming. Views from the hotel are brilliant and walking distance to small shops and a little beach.
The not so good… Unfortunately we are now 4 days in and have had to eat in the buffet restaurant every night due to only 2 of the supposedly 9 restaurants being open.
Each day we’ve woken up relatively early to use the booking kiosk but we cannot get any availability at all. If you were coming for a week or 10 days I’d suggest half board and go out to eat as this has put a negative on our stay with having to do a buffet each time. They should be either open earlier to accommodate more bookings or open up further restaurants as one or two isn’t good enough.
We booked premium and even this hasn’t helped our cause with trying to get availability.
Also at breakfast bottled water is not given out and you have to make do with small cups from the buffet dispenser.
Pool area - this is completely unmanaged in the sense that by 7am all beds are taken by peoples belongings and blue towels. The hotel really needs to implement a system whereby no belongings or towels should be left before 8am as the pool doesn’t open until 9am, remove the belongings and towels if they’re left before 8am.
I’ve witnessed families have to sit on towels on the floor just so they can sit near the kids pool. I’ve given up trying to get a bed and we now walk from the grass area across to get the kids in the pool…. A little frustrating. We’ve even noticed people leave their belongings and not get to the pool until 11/12!!!!
Also if travelling with Tui by coach we were dropped at the side of a main busy road with 4 cases, 2 kids and buggy….. we had to walk with all this down to the hotel. Best to come by taxi as they seem to come right to the entrance.
All in all lovely hotel but the negatives probably wouldn’t bring us to return.
The not so good… Unfortunately we are now 4 days in and have had to eat in the buffet restaurant every night due to only 2 of the supposedly 9 restaurants being open.

We stayed at this fabulous hotel from Saturday 5th until Sunday 13th September where we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary.
Their team were absolutely excellent at making us feel so welcome and the hotel itself was very clean and comfortable.
The meals were always to a high standard and the selection of drinks were more than enough for us both.
The excellent weather obviously helped us both have a relaxing break and we would like to highlight a few members of the team who went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable.
Nino in the restaurant was always very attentive and caring and in the pool area Plamen did a cracking job of making sure we were kept well well hydrated as well as ensuring the pool area was kept neat and tidy too.
The maid - we didn't catch her name unfortunately - did a wonderful job of creating on our beds a swan from towels, scattering it with flowers and chocolates & provided a bottle of sparkling wine too.
Ioanna the customer service manager was very impressive as one morning we had asked for mattress toppers to soften our beds slightly & when we nipped up to the room after lunchtime to collect an item the toppers had been fitted already. The beds were much better & we slept even more soundly for the remainder of our stay.
We will be recommending this hotel to friends and family who are wanting to travel to Cyprus especially as you all were following guidance to protect everyone from COVID-19 as best as possible.
We look forward to staying here again in the future.

My family of 8 have just returned from this lovely hotel in paphos, also part of a wedding party of 18 and all I can say is we all wish we were still there. From the first step into the hotel until the last step from the hotel all the staff have a mission and that is to make sure you have the most enjoyable holiday you can have. Loanna the guest relations manager comes around every morning to say hello and asks if everything is ok and always lets you know if there is any problem however small let her know and she will get it sorted. The food is a great selection and plenty of it and even one night when the kids were tired and being fussy nino ( who looked after our table ) and her restaurant manager arranged pizza or chicken nuggets and chips to be cooked just so the little ones had something to eat. Most of the days were spent in the huge warm swimming pool were space was not a problem and plenty of splashing was to be had . The swim up bar was always happy to serve and the kids absolutely loved the tasty thick milkshakes while I sampled the refreshing cold beer and my wife her Malibu and coke. Joseph on reception was always their to help in any way he could from organising taxis to helping organise a day out after our original day got cancelled from false advertising Via a third party, and even let us have our rooms on departure Day until our transfer arrived Five and a half hours later after we should of checked out for free. We stayed in rooms 246 and 244 which were both junior family rooms with jacuzzi and looked exactly as they did on the web page , the rooms were huge with magnificent views over the complex and the sea with beautiful sunsets while chilling in the hot tub sipping the complementary champagne. The room maids always said hello while maintaining a high level while cleaning our rooms. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and wouldn’t hesitate to come back to this hotel and can honestly say to anyone that the people leaving bad reviews are liars trying to get something for nothing. Thank you Azia resort and spa for having us

Thank you to everyone at the hotel for looking after me and my friend during our two week stay at Azia. We had such a great time and would love to come back again!
What we loved the most were the friendly people who worked at the hotel and made our stay so enjoyable. I tried to remember as many names of the staff as I could, but am sorry to those who I missed! (Also sorry if I have spelt any names wrong too..)
Thank you to: Nino, Aris, Lalita, Alex, Gregory, Alexandra, Plaven, Rosie, Edita, Vagelis, Joanna, Melanie, Irina, Irene, Klaudija, Joya, Anna, Lili, Ioanna, Magda, Elena, Krisztina, Ivan, Antonis, Gregoris, Dimitrina, Dimitrius. Also, thank you to the ladies in the spa who gave us new towels and booked us the tennis court/gym every day, the chefs who made such great food and the cocktail makers in the Cava bar who made us drinks most nights!
Aside from the team, there was a wide selection of food available each day, with each night having a different theme. In my experience of all inclusive hotels, this was one of the better qualities of food I have experienced.
The rooms were clean and well maintained. The one bit of feedback I'd give is that we paid extra for a premium room but didn't feel this was really worthwhile, especially when the premium lounge was pretty much closed due to covid. Next time, I'd just book a standard room.
The swimming pool area is spacious and clean, with a great garden area overlooking the sea at the back. There is a swim up pool bar and the team do an amazing job looking after all the guests.
With regards to location, it is about 15 minutes from the main city centre which is around 1.5 euros on the bus or 12 euros by private taxi.
Overall, the hotel is well maintained, spotless and just a friendly and comfortable place to be. It feels high quality without having a 'stuffy' vibe, and there was a friendly and fun atmosphere around the pool, restaurant and bar areas each day.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to others heading to Paphos!

Yes! And it’s much cheaper upgrading on site than it is beforehand 🙌🏻
The hotel has a continuing review programme of all areas to ensure any identified or observed default of their refurbishment of public areas is dealt with speedly without causing disraughtion for guests.
Recent exterior attention was the lopping of palm trees surrounding the pool and other guests sunbathing areas to ensure palm leaves did not cause annoyance if they dropped.
Interior painting of rooms, and restaurants plus public sitting areas were undertaken in 2023 and 2024.
Overall the hotel is in excellent order. My last visit was in October 2024 prior to being there for three weeks in June 2024
You will be able to interlink with the music and the bar area you might not be able sit inside the Cava Bar but there was a family who took the baby everywhere with them and the staff and entertainment team spoiled her rotten ! The whole resort is fantastic with babies, hope that helps you might lose her/him to the restaurant staff though 😆
There was one in our room. However, it wasn’t very powerful
