Akti Beach is a great hotel, staff are fantastic and so helpful, it felt so comfortable and inviting, clean and a safe feeling during these Covid times.
You can get pool towels for €10 deposit, room safe for €10 deposit and then €2 per night. Reception great with advice for local buses etc. Bus tickets are cheap.
We were all inclusuve and food was nice. Plenty to choose from. The guy who sang the songs from 50s onwards (shauny something?) Was great entertainment.bar staff good at keeping our drinks topped up. The room was lovely, cleaned everyday to a grest standard. Would definitely recommend for couples, families and single travellers.

This was my first stay at the Akti and I was not disappointed . Staff from the General Manager to bar, cleaning and maintenance staff work together as a team to ensure quality and care that make this hotel special. They did so with a smile and in a friendly manner that makes such a difference. Nothing was too much trouble to them. The food is fresh with great variety and as a non meat eater I was never struggling to find a good quality meal. My partner also commented that the meat was of a quality equivalent to a high end restaurant. I had no concerns about Coronovirus within the hotel setting or indeed anywhere else on the island as I felt very sensible precautions were being taken without an over reaction on the hotels part. Everywhere was kept spotless. Rooms are light and airy and linen changed regularly.
Cycle hire is available with excellent paths which are continuing to be developed along to Coral Bay.
Thank you to all at the Atki for making our holiday so special. I will certainly be returning .

I try to be as fair and honest as I can with my review. we stayed here 13th to 20th Sept 2020. Staff, all excellent, not one person gave us bad service.
Cleanliness: very good, rooms cleaned everyday, hotel areas spotless. The hotel was running well below capacity due to covid , all staff wore face coverings in all areas, the customers didn't need to. Queues were small at the bar and buffet due to low visitor numbers
Plenty of sunbeds due to low visitor numbers. The location isn't the best if youre looking for a sandy beach or local bars, the only bar in walking distance was very quiet.
The hotel bar served all inclusive drinks up until 11pm, the booze was ok, the fizzy drinks tasted very sugary
We upgraded to a room with sea view. The room was large but two beds were dissaponitinly small singles and not very comfortable (too small for a big fella) The 4* rating is a bit generous in my opinion. The rooms are a bit dated and the food was average. I would like to see a lot more fresh vegetables available, not tiny pieces of frozen carrots. That said I never went hungry and liked the different soups on offer each day

Just back after 7 nights at the Akti Beach Resort where we enjoyed a very pleasant holiday.Hotel was spotless with plenty of precautions against ongoing health scare .All Staff from Reception,Dining Room,Bar and cleaners were polite and helpful.We were originally in a studio apartment but upgraded to a one bed apartment which was very spacious and comfortable with views of the sea and main pool.The food served was of a good standard and was plentiful even when restaurant was busy. Some may find this Hotel pretty isolated but we enjoyed the peace and quiet but the bus stop is only 5 minutes away for those who want to visit Paphos Town.A special mention must be given to Andrey who worked hard to keep everyone entertained .All in all a great place to stay and hopefully we will revisit in the future

We booked for this hotel - all inclusive. Two couples looking for some sunshine, rest and catch up time. The hotel was very basic but if you book the superior rooms with sea view then they are newer and of better quality. Our friends didn’t but got this upgrade changed after one night at the hotel as their room were very dated.
The food was ok, but as I am Lactose intolerant and as this is classed as a four star hotel I thought they would have had a choice of milk at breakfast but everyday I had to ask for soya milk. This was disappointing as when I went to a supermarket they had every type of alternative milks there! The food was ok - just basic but a lot of choice.
There is no spa there, and we learnt this as booked a massage and found out that there is a room off the indoor pool which is very tired and has no charm or atmosphere of a spa where the masseuse had to work so check out the room before you buy- lesson to share.
The friendly staff where the day bar staff and the wonderful guy who held exercise classes and games in the day and kept people smiling.
The sun beds were of poor quality and tired. The grass area where the sun beds were was unkept and untidy.
Change of towels provided daily in the rooms but bedding not changed throughout stay of one week.

As for our guests with dietary or allergies, we are very attentive and very careful. We make sure that the correct product is offered to our guests and that is the reason we do it on a personal level which is safer and more efficient. Our SPA & Gym, fully operate but due to COVID-19, our guests must prebook the Jacuzzi, steam-bath, sauna, Gym. This way we make sure that the facility is always clean and disinfected. Also, for this reason, we clean and disinfect the room daily, change the towels, and every 3 days the linen. We would like to extend our warm wishes and regards from all of us and we are looking forward to seeing you again at our AKTI resort thus giving us the chance to show our warm hospitality. This was our 2nd visit to Akti Beach; 1st was in September 2019.
The food, service and entertainment were all as good as last time, with extra covid safety measures now in place.
Meggy, the brilliant restaurant manager, made sure everyone was wearing a mask and using plastic gloves. The gloves are provided but you need to bring your own masks.
Entertainment was provided by Andrei. Last time we came he was working with Anna, but she is now working on reception. Andrei does stretching, bowls, aqua aerobics, shuffle board, darts and table tennis plus some of the evening entertainment. He did a music movie quiz when we were there. He is amazing. Him and Anna remembered us. They are both a real credit to the hotel. Everyone loves Andrei around the pool as he takes time to get to know people and he has a great sense of humour.
There is access to the sea at Akti to a lovely cove, but you are best bringing water shoes as there are some rocks and shingle.
We hired a car from Leo Optimus again on the main road opppsite King Evelthon. It was €50 per day for a Nissan Kashkai. We went to a few quiet sandy beaches, also to Coral Bay, Aphrodite Beach, Limassol, Pissouri and to the Troodos Mountains. My partner plays golf, so also drove to Secret Valley Golf Course and to Aphrodite Hills.
The food is very good with a different theme every night - Grill, Italian, Carvery, Greek, Cypriot, international, Oriental. Mexican would have been nice, maybe next time.
Most of the people at the hotel this time were from Russia with less than 20 people from the UK, most of the people from the UK being from Liverpool. We met some really lovely people this year. It is such a friendly welcoming atmosphere here.
We had our day 2 covid tests booked with Biograd for £50 each, collected before we flew to Cyprus. The tests to come home we had at the Evangelismos clinic on the King Road, €10 each for a quick test. The Cyprus pass had to be shown to get into the Kings Mall and to some coffees shops and cafes, so best to have on your phone.
I am sure we will be back again a year or so.

Landed late at night and was shown to our room by the receptionist, on arrival all doors and windows were open and he advised us to ‘check for cats’ now why the windows and doors were open I have no idea as it was midnight, by the time we killed all the bugs it was 2am we had dirty towels and sheets as shown by the pictures and someone’s hair on the skirting boards also, again see pics below. Went to breakfast in the morning and it gave us a good indication not to eat there it smelt and tasted horrible from the few bits we had. We did not eat here for the remainder of the 2 weeks even with being all inclusive. The pool are was always covered in empty plates and rubbish so we used the pool next door at King Evelthon for 10-15 euros you can use the pool for the day and its much nicer. In short the hotel was unclean and the food was gross. I knew 4* in Cyprus would not be 4* but I still expected basic cleanliness.

I honestly don’t understand the negative reviews about this hotel.
Arrived quite late at night and had a sandwich, crisps and water waiting for us. Also gave us a voucher for a drink as the all inclusive had finished.
The food here is great. Loads of choice, both hot and cold, for all meals. Lunch is served outdoors and is always lovely to eat lunch looking out at the beautiful blue sea. The rooms are spacious, cleaned daily, the beds comfy, the shower is amazing!
The bar staff/waiters are the best! Special thanks to Kyprian, Ivan and Michalis for keeping our drinks topped up. You guys are great.

Fab relaxing holiday
For starters we arrived late and had missed out on the All Inclusive as that finishes at 11pm, we were greeted by very friendly reception staff, during check in we were given a voucher to get a drink and a bag of food with something to eat by way of Sandwich , cake and fruit, something at least if you were hungry
Rooms were basic but clean with a kettle, and fridge which was fab with a few teabags etc, you were also given a bottle of water, which you had to keep to refill otherwise you would be charged for the water if you wanted a new bottle but on tap the water is always available , this was not a problem really, rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels and beds made, the beds were quite comfy and pillows were fine, there was a safe in the room which is payable at €2 a day and €10 deposit which you get back at the end.
Beach towels are available but you have to pay €10 each, deposit which you also get back at the end, you can change the towels daily if you wish.
No need to rush down for sunbeds with umbrellas there are loads, which there are some round the pool, they go quick , but there are some on a grass area and a sandy area overlooking the sea , all very relaxing. There is a second pool in a quite area with beds which didn’t get very full at all with a bar next to it.
Breakfast is good , cooked breakfast, continental , cereals , fruits, breads, pastries. Plenty to choose from.
Lunch , slightly disappointing , it’s not served in the main restaurant it’s in the outside bar area, there was some salad, not much of a choice here maybe only a couple of main dishes really plus a fish dish but always looked slightly undercooked , then maybe a pasta dish , loads of chips , chicken nuggets and fish fingers for kids, but we still managed to choose something,
Evening meal , quite a good choice here, themed evenings , always something nice to eat, again staff very friendly
Bar staff also very friendly , there is table service also which is great so you can always keep your drinks topped up, at around 10.30pm new drinks come in plastic cups instead of glass , getting ready for clearing up at 11pm.
Entertainment , the entertainment staff work really hard from morning until night and are also very friendly, some evenings were better than others, the kids will like it all, they do bingo, quizzes, shows etc and have outside entertainment shows coming in, all in all not to bad
Location, not close to any bars or restaurants but we were not bothered as just wanted to relax
You can go in the sea in a small cove in the rear of the hotel down some steps, my husband loved it.
For late check out it costs around €80 , but you are not guaranteed this, they will let you know on the day, however we did not bother we got showered and changed in the spa area which was fine, reception will supply you with soap and shampoo if needed.
In short, great hotel, very friendly staff, clean and comfy, we really enjoyed it

We stayed here for 7 nights I’ll try and give a proper review. First the room very spacious and clean cleaned daily and towels changed. The towels were past there best some threadbare manageable. Air conditioning good, fridge etc. the village itself very clean and kept well a supermarket that sold minimal because of its size. The reception and toilet’s spotless large bar but beware always queuing and local brew couldn’t get tipsy on a gallon. Bar staff run off there feet maybe more staff as pool bar opened today 1/4/22. Food is edible but very repetitive if your like fish cake’s they’ll be fine lol. My only real problem was the constant attention from the management in the restaurant put a glove on put a mask on. If you want less hassle go out for a meal !! I did quite a few. You get what you pay for cheap and cheerful 7 nights. The site is set right next to the sea but rocky there is a very small beach short walk

Dear Mark P Our goal is to provide the best holiday experience to our guests as we constantly work on improving our services. We have opened the pool bar as soon as the weather permitted it we hire staff on a daily basis and as far as the masks and gloves that the guests and all of our staff have to use is part of the legislation we have to follow regarding Covid! Yes we went to Coral Bay by bus
,you can get bus to Paphos Harbour or nice coastal walk or the shuttil bus
no pina colada unless you pay but they do have a few cocktails,the malibu bay breeze is gret ,enjoy
