Fantastic location delicious food at dinner with a la carte menu and massive buffett breakfast. Beautiful spacious room 0210 with unforgettable view. Really enjoyed a short break on the coast. Will definitely come back.

We found this weekend stay, a gift from my sister for our 25th wedding anniversary to be extremely pleasant. The hotel was excellent, and I am surprised that it is not rated so highly by a proportion of guests. The first thing, on arrival, I requested, was an upgrade but found the hotel was fully booked. Then I found our...

I only live in Hailsham but still choose to stay at the Cavendish for the pure luxury experience. We stayed for just one night as a treat after Christmas, were so impressed that we are staying again this week - can't find an excuse yet, but I'll think of one. Rooms so perfect, bar reasonable and service great, breakfast is...

We popped in for a coffee, with our trainee guide dog, and could not have been given a warmer welcome. We were served excellent coffee at our table, along with a bowl of fresh water, napkin, and a biscuit for the dog! Decided to stay for sandwiches...they were excellent too!

We stayed here for one night and also got a very good deal for 2 including breakfast. The location is very good short walk to the pier and the town centre. Parking is to the rear of the hotel and is £4 a day which we took up. The room was small but comfortable we were not expecting a lot...

Stayed here for one night on a D, B and B basis. I was rather concerned that we would be disappointed for such a bargain price and that the hotel would be catering en masse for coach trips---how wrong we were. The receptionist was most pleasant and helpful and upgraded us to a huge room with an amazing view of...

I'm definitely not complaining, after all I got this hotel for just £59 bed and breakfast for the night. The entrance is very grand, as is the restaurant and bar, but when we got up to the room the bed was a standard double bed 4ft 6". I expected at least a king size bed as all the other hotels...

Our first visit to this hotel for a short break. Double room with sea view on second floor very good. Large, warm, window did open for fresh air. Oriel window giving excellent view. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was always very good and on the Saturday evening dinner in the hotel was excellent. Library and large lounge area...
