Our visit was to enable us to attend a wedding in Eastbourne so was alone night stay. Seeing it was the No 1 hotel on Trip Advisor I made a reservation and was not disappointed. We were able to book in pre lunch to enable my wife to change into her outfit which avoided travelling for 2 hours in her...

Stayed one night, dinner bed and breakfast. Chose the hotel for off road parking and were lucky to secure a space upon arrival. We were upgraded to the Wilmington suite which was clean and comfortable with a super king bed, sofa, fridge, 2 TVs and DVD player. Had a lovely bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle and nice fluffy towels....

My Wife and me stay at this hotel twice a year, an excellent hotel especially for the older generation although all patrons are made to feel most welcome. Joanne,Hugh and Harry go out of there way to make you feel most welcome. Rooms, choice of menu are excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

The good news is that it's cheap. The bad news is that you get what you pay for. Th decor is tired and jaded and the place has the feeling that it's seen better days. There were in the 70s. The room was advertised as a twin but was a very pokey single. The restaurant shuts at 8 which is...

We stayed for two days and were delighted with the room, food and service from the staff. We were a bit taken back at first by the 70"s anaglypta painted walls. However, we acknowledged that we had to look beyond this, which we did , and we're very satisfied that we selected the hotel. It is opposite the Towner gallery...

We stayed midweek and everything was first class. We enjoyed afternoon tea and dinner on the first night which was included in the price as was the breakfasts. The food was excellent - no complaints whatsoever. The room was a good size and quiet.

Returned here for a midweek stay at a reasonable rate. Like last time I had a comfortable room, and a good size too, with windows that opened. Breakfast was excellent. The location of the hotel close to the art gallery and theatre was perfect for me. Off road parking also available. I shall, no-doubt, return again sometime.

Hotel was clean, bed comfortable, but decor was a bit tired. Bar although open, couldn't serve coffee at 10pm as had already cleaned the machine. Breakfast ok, although there was an extra charge of £3 for a latte. Would have expected to pay around £80 for this quality of hotel, felt that £120 was too expensive for the standard we...

Our stay at the hotel was a Travelzoo present from our children and we received a warm welcome and help from Harry the Receptionist . We were given a free room upgrade from the hotel and the accommodation was excellent. Both dinner and breakfast were first rate-as was the service provided. We hope to visit again before long
