Booked at this hotel last minute as our normal Llandudno choices were full. I was a bit sceptical with the cruise theme and the way the the clientele were described as we are a bit younger. Anyway we parked in the very tight car park and immediately someone came to help us ith our bags. We were too early to...

This mock cruise break was outstanding value for money. We could find no faults with anything from the rooms, the food, the entertainment and especially the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. We were invited to sit at the captain's table and the meal was great and the wine flowed.Chris was the captain for the night and made everyone feel...

We checked in here after mistakenly only booking one night in Portmeirion. Read the reviews on here and decided to book. The hotel is themed on a cruise ship with all the staff dressed in sailing attire. It looks like it has just been refurbished. The room we stayed in was a double, was clean fresh and decorated to a...

We have just returned from our 5 day break at the fantastic Tynedale hotel run by Nathan and Tracey and their excellent team. There is no other hotel to beat this either on food and the brilliant presentation, the quality and standard of the rooms. The mock Cruise we were on was amazing and on the last night there was...

Lost count of how any times that we have been to this hotel over the last 20 years, and every time has been excellent. You cannot fault it, the food, the entertainment, the rooms, the staff and whole ambience is first class. Will be back again soon.

Friendly staff and brilliant cruise ship themed breakfast. There was plenty of choice on the menu for breakfast. Really tastefully decorated hotel and comfy bed. Fab and would stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

We stayed here this weekend, it was a surprise for my birthday...... and what a surprise! A beautiful hotel right on the seafront. Tastefully decorated throughout. Whilst we were there a "mock cruise" was taking place, we joined in as the group were docking in Reykjavik!! We were greeted with an ice bar and a variety of shots to sample,...

Love this hotel. My second year of 'The Cruise'. Everything was wonderful again...apart from the Captain's Table! Love you Mr Manager...but on the 9th it went wrong. The Captain's table where so loud, and it made people left in the room feel excluded. Like sitting watching a party you aren't invited to! We all discussed it upstairs as you where...

Well we booked into the hotel for a 2 night stay over the weekend. The hotel runs themed 4 night stays and we came onto the Onshore Cruise themed weekend. It doesnt take long to come into the spirit. All staff in cruise themed uniforms. Menus set to different ports of call. Ships horn sounding occasionally (but not too often)...

This hotel is warm in every way. The staff are welcoming, friendly and very helpful. My husband and I were part of a large group which filled the whole hotel. Despite the dining room being full the service was excellent and the food delicious and beautifully presented. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and the sea view was an extra...
