My elderly Mum lives locally (Tudor Court) and we dropped in at about 6.45 for a quick coffee during our evening walk along the Prom. The place was near empty (the Receptionist later telling me that all the residents had just gone down to dinner) but we were told that 'only residents were served after 5pm' and that 'there is...

We've just come back from a group holiday at the Tynedale. The food was superb; the entertainment was excellent; the staff were brilliant! We shall return in 2018 for a landlubbers cruise! The organization went like clockwork with no problems whatsoever. A memorable holiday.

Another very successful group tour on the Tynedale's "Mock Cruise" theme. The staff are very efficient and friendly with great service from the reception, restaurant, bar staff and housekeeping. Excellent food and imaginative menus from the chefs. Beautifully furnished rooms with every modern amenity. Every time we visit some part of the hotel has been decorated or up-graded. Excellent position...

A fabulous weekend, enjoyed throughout, arranged and carried out by husbandand wife team of Nott Johnson, coach operators, driver and courier, excellent throughout. The Tyndale is listed as three star, this is un-believable, we have often stayed in four and even five star hotels that could not compare. The staff, all branches from reception, bar, restaurant, to house keeping are first...
