Stay there for two night, was reasonable for the price you paid. Next time will try and stay at queens hotel. Breakfast and dinner is quite restricted to an hour, so if you want to wake up later you will miss the breakfast.
I suppose that is a little unfair but true, it is full of old people, at 50+ I was the youngest one there and that included some staff.
I can understand why it is only 2 star.

Good food lovely staff beds were comfortable but the room was very dated and dowdy. (95)
The bathroom shower had mould all over it, wallpaper was peeling, doors were all scratched and I had to clean the kettle before using it. Will not return.
Boked for one night en-route home from Scotland. Not a bad find for last minute. Great location, next to the beach, a few minutes walk from the pier and from the town. Staff friendly, helpful and accommodating. We managed to get parking, but carpark tiny...More
