Stayed here a week ago for 2 nights. Great location near the pier. Tony and his team really looked after us. If you are thinking of Llandudno as a destination then the Belmont would be a perfect base to explore North Wales. The Welsh breakfast is pretty good aswell.

The hotel has been recently modernised to a good finish, reception and breakfast areas were spacious. Check-in was straightforward and the staff knowledgeable and attentive. Parking was easy in the street but perhaps not so later in the year. Our room was clean and tidy but was tiny, very hot, although the radiator was off. Furniture was basic, no doors on the wardrobe due we presume to the room size. Mechanical noise (water pump assumed) throughout the night and noise from the room above, all this kept us awake.....and the shower!! - it's literally a wet room, everything got soaked.

We had a one night break celebrating our Silver Anniversary. We had a Superior King Room which was tastefully decorated, as was the Hotel throughout. The Bar/lounge area was very comfortable with lovely sea views, also opening out to pleasant seating area at front of Hotel. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. All in all we had a lovely stay and would definitely return. Thankyou Tony for making our stay so enjoyable, and for making us feel so welcome.

We stayed for three nights Xmas Eve through to 27th. We were greeted by Tony when we checked in around 1.15pm, I had spoken with him previously when booking on the phone and he was super helpful, the room was ready which was a nice surprise. The room was fine, no view, but then we knew we were booking a room at the rear of the hotel, it was warm and cozy. The bar is open 24 hours and for hotel prices it's very reasonable. Breakfast the first morning was lovely as we could help ourselves to buffet which I much prefer, the hot food was also good, and service attentive. Christmas day lunch was excellent, Tony even put a complimentary Christmas supper on which was such a nice touch as there was nothing at all open. Breakfast the next two mornings was decided by a tick box on paper as covid rules had changed again, a few mishaps, but these were rectified quickly. I think the hospitality sector deserve a medal, such a tough profession, especially in these hard times. They don't get nearly enough credit. I think we would definitely stay again, the only slight niggle I have is the soundproofing, you can never stop inconsiderate guests from going in and out of their rooms 10 times a night, but it's really annoying when you are woken twice in the middle of the night by the door opposite slamming, I'm guessing there must be some sort of slow release mechanism that can help muffle this sound. Also the footsteps of the people above you can be heard, like I say, niggles, overall we had a wonderful Christmas break and were looked after well. Thanks all, we wish you all the best for 2022, you deserve it!.
