Good location right on the promenade and really central. Loved the fact that they were dog friendly and didn't as other hotels do charge for you fetching your dog. Staff friendly but did feel sorry for the man on reception as he was expected to cover the bar and reception! Buffet breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Overall for... More

Easy to criticise but this is a budget hotel - you get what you pay for and Brig Y Don ticked the boxes for staff friendliness - room cleanliness - Breakfas and lift. Licensed bar nice for a nightcap. Only gripe (and I'm being 'picky') access to bathroom and shower could have been better (it was a tight squeeze)

Ideal hotel for a few days away, small free car park at rear. Wonderful views over the bay. Breakfast was fine, plenty to eat. TV in room with freeview channels, free Wifi was good. Comfortable bed, blackout curtains and very little noise ( I was on the top floor) Good value for money, would stay again.

Could not fault this hotel at all, very friendly greeting upon arrival, room was large, extremely clean with crisp white bedding and an abundance of towels, lovely sea view to top it off. Breakfast was exceptional, buffet style but a fantastic selection to suit everyone's tastes, the cooked breakfast was cooked to perfection and piping hot, fresh fruits, cereals and... More

Lovely hotel! The staff were very helpful, the hotel is also right on the promenade which was a bonus as we had our dog with us (yes they allow dogs). Other hotels that are dog friendly have always been a little run down however the Brig y Don was very well kept. Breakfast comes as standard and there was a... More

A last minute booking made through a lovely lady on recepion saw me checking in with my elderly parents, walking stickas and all, to the third floor. She had warned me about steps and landings which was fine but, having spent the night in a very basic but adequate room, we were greeted by a note on the lift "out... More

I have visited many hotels over the past few years as a single traveller and in the past have found that as a single traveller you usually get the worst room in the hotel and pay extra for the privilege - this was not the case on a recent holiday with Just Go Holidays. This hotel was situated right opposite... More
