I booked this hotel after looking at photos and reviews on this site. Big mistake. I arrived early and was able to check in at 2 instead of 3. Friendly enough receptionist and the lobby looked okay. Was told we were in the anexx at the back which was like a shed in the car park at the back. Room...

I stayed here one night last week as a treat for my son at half term, hotel is a 5 minute walk from station and set right on the seafront, the staff were very welcoming from reception to restaurant staff, we had both evening meal and breakfast both were lovely and fairly priced, we had a family room on the...

2nd time here and once again we enjoyed the stay. Rooms very clean and breakfast tasty. Staff friendly and polite. In prime position and very good value for the money. Tea facilities and toiletries provided in rooms. We will return again next year.

We stayed here on a last minute booking. We stayed in the annex which was lovely, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was included in the price and was very tasty. We will definitely be staying here again. We would highly reccommend this hotel

Great location just a shame about the quality. Decided to book a single night here on the way to Snowdon. Booked via a booking website, as there were loads available at a similar price i checked out the photos. All I will say is the photographer gets a 5 star rating as the room we had was nothing like any...

We visited Llandudno, and stayed in Iris since we liked the feeling of the Promenade. The prices were great. We had 2 rooms since we're a family of 4. Both rooms were in the back of the building, and although they were really good, the pathway to it looked really dirty and grubby. The breakfast was also good, but the...

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here last night. Luckily we hadn't read any of the reviews before hand or we may have been put off. Having now read some of the reviews here I am wondering if these people went to the same place as us?! We stayed in a room in the annex. It was lovely. Clean, tidy and...

You definitely get what you pay for. As a manager of a Hotel myself, I feel I can be quite critical about my stay as I really wasn't impressed. Stayed here for 4 nights, I had emailed the Hotel in advance asking for a bottle of wine to be placed in my room, but after settling in found no wine,...

Dear Christine You being a manager of one of hotels -as you mention in your review that you are - we supposed you would know that if you chose the cheapest and the smallest room in the hotel -as you book ,,Small double in the Annex ,, -you would not expect something different The cleaners couldn't access your room daily...

We had the pleasure of staying at the Iris for one night 21st May 16. We payed slightly extra for a sea view which we certainly got. The rooms were modern, not large but very nice and clean comfortable (we stayed in 203). On booking in at about 5pm we had a lovely smiling welcome from the young lady on...

We stayed at the Iris hotel last minute as the reviews suggested good value for money. Well located on the waterfront my girlfriend and I thought we had stumbled upon a gem, we were sorely mistaken. On arrival the lady in reception was very abrupt, bordering upon rude. We were informed that instead of being in the annex as we...
