Booked in here just for 1 night on New Years Day. Got a good deal booking late and enjoyed a premier room and dining. This hotel has to have possibly the best location in Llandudno especially if you upgrade to a sea view room. Have stayed in other Britannia hotels before so know some of the downfalls but have to...

We don't usually go for the more fancy looking hotels but just randomly decided to book a night at the Grand Hotel. At first glance when we arrived we realised that it was more targeted towards older people and it being December it was really quiet but we spent a while in the bar and noticed they actually have "nightly...

Walked into the reception area & stepped back in time to the war era. There were Pensioners everywhere!! Went up to my room to drop the bags off & it...

I typically do not leave bad reviews but in this instance my wife and I have just returned early from this hotel. I booked an accessible room for my wife who is in a wheelchair - I checked at reception when we paid and was told yes it is an accessible room - the only thing accessible about room 112a...

We were expecting that little bit extra giving the name Grand and the unique location, but the room was below standard, mould in the bathroom (shower head and taps) and the room was just tired. There was a plaster on the shower head so clearly not cleaned very well. The breakfast was ok, full on buffet style all you can...

The hotel is in a beautiful setting. All of the public rooms were pleasant. The staff helpful and pleasant. But this is a very old and dated building. No chance of a good nights sleep, the corridors and bedrooms creaked at every movement. Paper thin walls meant we could hear people using their bathrooms and loud snoring.

So walked in and was greeted by a very nice lady. She gave us our first room which (see picture) had feces in the toilet and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a couple days. When we returned to tell her she said "sorry nothing we can do" and because we have no where else to stay (Boxing Day)...

We are also at the hotel as I write this review, tinsel and turkey. We have had the usual good assistance from Tracey and the reception staff. Our room has been given a freshen up with new curtains and paint. The TVs room has also been redecorated. The food has been fine in fact the wife asked me where I...
