Room clean with white bed sheets etc. bathroom could have been better finished but was clean. Good access to town but parking somewhat restricted but found free parking no more than 10 min walk away, staff very helpful and polite, entertainment was of a surprising high standard. All in all a good positive experience.

This is a hotel where the saying "you get what you pay for" is something you should really consider. This place was much better than expected and having been many promenade hotels over the years wonder why I left it so long. Excellent food, excellent entertainment and clear and tidy rooms. Cant fault the place but if you visit please beware parking is a pain.

We stayed here from 8th August 2015 to 10 August 2015, with breakfast included. The pictures on their website looked very nice, and now I know how miss-leading they were!! I have stayed in many budget hotels and this is my worst experience ever!! This hotel needs a MAJOR refurbishment, but this should not stop it from being kept clean...

The hotel is ideally located with a good entertainment package each evening . After that there is not much else good to say the hotel needs a complete overhaul . Every where is...

The Grand Hotel, well what can I say, the hotel is falling to bits, every floorboard squeaks, it looks like the time it seen a lick of paint must have been about 30 years ago. The room was awful, I would mark the room 0.3 out of 10, the carpets are threadbare the ceiling was full of cobwebs, the walls...

Check in is at 16:00 check out 10:00 extra £15 for late check out. We asked for late check out and paid for it. At 09:45 after a tap on the door a lady walked in, I didn't even have time to cover up or hide. No apology at reception or refund. The hotel is shabby. I will be using...
