200 miles in a coach, a seaview room, 4 nights half board, 3 excursions, evening entertainment - all for less than £200 each. No, it definitely wasn't the Ritz but it was fine for the price - adequate room (newly decorated but bathroom let it down badly - unmodernised, rather tatty), food adequate, entertainment adequate, small heated swimming pool adequate....

But instead we left extremely dissapointed. Rooms weren't clean not hoovered found chocolate etc on floor, bathroom dirty around seat etc. Dining room dirty, food splattered up walls, breakfast not much...

Food was very good but we waited quite a while to be served I do not think there were enough staff. Having half...

I stayed here for two nights with my mother in law on a national holidays trip. On check in staff were friendly and we had to choose our dinner options for that evening (roast lamb, ham salad veg option or a fish). Our room was clean, however, we were on the top floor, did not have a sea view or...

Odd smell as you enter hotel, not strong but definitely present. Large public areas generally well presented, if a little cool, but the uncomfortable threadbare faux leather seats desperately need replacing. Room clean, warm and comfortable, perhaps recently refurbished. Plenty hot water with towels replaced as needed. Any problems quickly attended to. Dinner was quite good with reasonable choice and...
