Friendly welcome and easy check-in. Neil (the owner) then insisted on taking our luggage upstairs to our room. Nice traditional decor & dark wood furnishings, our room having a very comfy four-poster bed. Included jacuzzi bath and lots of subtle touches. Room very clean. Had a great nights sleep, fab breakfast and top service from Neil's staff. The owner is...

I stayed at the Bella Vista recently with my wife and 14 year old son. We had a double room (four-poster bed) with an en-suite bathroom and our son occupied a single room which was linked to the same bathroom. Neil, the owner, was very helpful and reserved a car parking space at the rear of hotel on arrival. We...

Normally I chose a more modern hotel, however, I was more than pleased to experience this level...

We booked the room at the top of the hotel. 2 bedrooms, our daughter thought it was great she had her own room. It was small but comfy single bed. Our room had a comfy double with great views. Spotlessly clean if a little dated in the decor department. Very friendly staff and a great breakfast. For what we paid...

We stayed here for 1 night in March. Hotel is clean and welcoming and Neale is a wonderful host, texting to let us know that our room was ready early. Our room was massive, but on top floor so a bit of a workout, but not a problem unless you have bad legs! Room was clean and fresh and had...

After reading other reviews i think we must of stayed in a different hotel. Our room was in the attic. It was like something out of a time warp. dirty furniture , awful red/yellow/black paper and bedding, the net curtains hadn't been washed in 30 years and the curtain were about 6ft to narrow to shut. the shower screen was broken....
