We lived in Ipswich for 15 years before emigrating to Italy, and this cafe was a regular haunt for us. Now, every time we come back for a visit, we make sure our hotel is within walking distance of Jack's Cafe. Why pay the ridiculous prices for a hotel breakfast when you can have a proper one at a fraction...

Have enjoyed many good breakfasts here in the past. Not been for some time but still found the cooked breakfast with fried breakfast very tasty. The experience, however, was spoiled by the uncouth woman who worked there! She seemed to consider it quite acceptable to hold a conversation with one of her regulars whilst on the other side of the...

Staying locally for a few days and am bored with hotel breakfasts. Came to Jack's Cafe for brunch and the choice is huge. I had cheese on toast and milky coffee - perfect mid week, mid winter comfort food. The staff are brilliant and I would highly recommend it.

The cafe below serves good, wholesome traditional food, and the current price tag of £25 includes a good English breakfast. I wouldnt hesitate in recommending this place to anyone wanting...

This is the best place for a fry up in the area by far! Perfect for a Sunday hangover cure with a cuppa, I will definitely be coming back for another slice of the cheesecake too. Great value for money and the staff are so friendly.

Now let's start with the positives.... -leaving And now with the negatives... This was by far the worst place I have ever been. I booked a room for the night and ended leaving. There were junkies and hookers staying in the rooms. I spoke to one lady about the toilet and she just said use the sink! There was mould...
