Very cheap, does the basics, friendly staff, Rooms are fit for purpose, en suite bathroom, all worked fine. Breakfast was poor, some sort of compressed meat replaced bacon, can't imagine they are saving much but it was awful. Still It's a basic B&B very cheap and that's what you get. The big bonus though is the location, walking distance to...

It is a place very easy to find, not far from the main route getting to Ipswich. About 10-15 minutes walk from center, nice surrounding. Often lodgers are labour workers for temporary accommodations. Prices low according to the market. The breakfast is great, according English standard. Wi-fi, internet discontinuous, building structures or any possible reason. It is not of my kind...

What can I say? I was only there one night, I arrived late and left early. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the wifi was very fast and just worked without any stupid portals or logins. I got a good night's sleep and it was quiet on a Saturday night. I didn't stay for breakfast. Although there was...

Not fancy, but it's a B&B, you get a bed and you get breakfast, en suite bathroom is great, but you mainly stay for the location. It's near where some of my family live which is handy, but for everyone else, it's right next to the town center. There's a Tesco near by, a very nice cafe which does takeaway,...

Honestly, the entire staff was more than friendly, they treated you like family. They cooked a full English breakfast for you each morning (vegetarian option available) and made you feel like home. I liked the personal touch about it, especially when you're in a foreign country. It's modest and I am sure some people have higher standards than I do,...

The hotel is centrally placed for ease of access to the town centre. The hotel could do with a major refurbishment of rooms and en-suite facilities. The TV was the old box (crt) type minute with a poor picture which hummed and made watching very difficult. The staff were friendly and helpful. The parking was good. The breakfast was very...

We were reminded on arrival that this was a family run hotel. How right they were. Normally family run hotels or B&B's are better run than the corporate hotels and certainly have a friendlier atmosphere. When I walked into my room, I was greeted by twin beds which looked flat and lifeless, well, I found out that they were not...

This family run hotel is a home away from home. All staff were very friendly, the breakfast was lush, with all manner of food on the menu, table service too. I could not fault the cleanliness of the room, I stayed for six days and it was spotless on my afternoon return, they even folded the toilet roll!!! The TV...

They say that if you have nothing nice to say, then don't say anything at all. But I also believe that you should tell it like it is.... This place is so dated and could be made really nice with just a little effort. But even that would appear to be last on the agenda. I can't fault the staff,...

This is a good value budget hotel situated very conveniently for the football ground and town centre pubs, etc. The twin bedded room was warm and the bed comfortable. The shower isn't a power shower but got the job done. Breakfast included cereals, fruit and a cooked option that was good and plentiful. All in all a great place for...
