Estelle you are a diamond with a heart of gold. Honestly the stay wouldn’t of been what it was without you. Room was clean, location was great and free parking is definitely a bonus. Thank you ever so much again.

There are 4 disabled parking bays. We managed to get one upon our arrival. We had to leave about 6:30pm to meet up other family members for dinner elsewhere. We arrived back at the Travelodge about 11:30pm and all the disabled bays were full as was the rest of the parking lot. A very kind guy, Gary C and his partner Sue just happened to see us leaving for dinner. As we didn't know where to park, Gary C and Sue came over to our car at 11:30pm and told us that the hotel management allow anyone to park in the disabled bays regardless of having a blue badge, including their own staff and even the assistant manager. They kindly went to reception to advise them that we couldn't park anywhere. After about 40 minutes someone came out of the hotel and moved their car. As I'm in a wheelchair, I need to be able to open the car door fully in order to get in to my wheelchair. If it wasn't for this very kind and helpful couple I'm not too sure what we would have done

Total lack of care to the blue badge holders, This hotels management have told there staff that they can park in the blue badge bays and only move if they want to for a customer, they also tell the other customers that if the car park Is full then they can park in the disabled spots. Just because they have no parking attendants. Some of the staff are acomadating and will do anything to help but not all. The breakfast is bland and dry and the scrambled egg you need a knife to cut through. And as for continental breakfast very little choice. If I had a choice I WOULD NOT STAY HERE FULL STOP.!!!!!!

The best and most affordable hotel in Ipswich. We have been regulars here for years but not since COVID. Popped in today having pre booked a room for our son and daughter in law and requested if we could reserve a 3rd floor harbour view room. Dave the assistant manager was very very helpful and made a special reservation for our request so it would make our sons visit all the more special. A great location. Always clean. Always affordable. A comfortable nights sleep. And most of all the staff are so friendly and accommodating on every single visit. Thank you Travelodge - Great customer services.
