We have stayed for a weekend, this is a 4 star hotel with 4 star prices. On arriving the parking is not 4 star, really. The reception very average, no porter but the receptionist will do it. Surely a 4 star hotel asking these prices should offer a porter service. The room is fine, big double double bed, bath in...

The terrace has stunning views over sandbanks , well worth the visit even if it's just a drink with friends .. very busy bar and terrace so pick your time , but well worth the wait . Late afternoon through to sunset is perfect .. make the trip it's beautiful. The terrace is well appointed and comfortable

Stayed with friends to celebrate a birthday. Clean hotel with good breakfast. Having refurb work done while we stayed which didn't effect our time in the hotel but did course a problem parking in the day because of work vehicles. Would return again.

Had the pleasure of being a guest at the New Mayor of Poole's Lunch. I have never been to this place before and was not sure what it was like. The food was of the highest quality I have experienced for a Lunch for 50 plus people we had selected our choices weeks in advance, which I guess is good...

Delightful, professionally run hotel with great service and excellent restaurant. Spacious room on first floor with outstanding views over Brownsea Island and Sandbanks peninsular. Very relaxing. Good value for money.

This should have been a great birthday lunch with family but I left feeling a bit....deflated. The menu is full of fussy descriptions so you're never REALLY sure what you're going to get (must be my working class background!). Consequently my starter of Cod blah-blah was a very fishy, whipped mousse type thing, very sickly and not at all nice....

A treat to stay here. Our balcony room had fabulous views over Poole harbour and it was great to sit on the terrace with a g & t. We eat in the restaurant simply for convenience but were glad we made that decision as the food was first glass and the view again fabulous.

I attended my niece's wedding here on Saturday, the experience start to finish was fantastic. I would say as a veggie that I had the best wedding meal I have ever had. The staff were friendly and very helpful, our room was great with a nice big comfy bed. I highly recommend this venue.

The decor is modern and well maintained. The best thing about this hotel though is the staff. From check in to check out i cannot...
