Stayed in Wakefield for 3 nights as a base for visiting nearby art venues. Location is Fab. Central yet in a beautiful park. Bed was very comfy. Bathroom/carpets a bit tired but reflected in price. Breakfasts were marvellous. Cooked for you rather than hot buffet. The Eating Inn restaurants next door was a bonus though noise from punters and staff...

Went for 2 nights for my birthday with my partner as never been to wakefield before. The hotel is on some lovely grounds great outside sitting area. They have a Marquee next to hotel which was a bit awkward as every time we were passing they wouldn't move so we could pass,) as though they had the right to have...

The hotel was in pleasant surroundings with very helpful staff both in the hotel and restaurant. The hotel requested quiet throughout the building with pictures on the doors. It seemed to work extremely well as we were not disturbed either of our two nights.

We stay in Premier Inns a lot and the 3 starts is given compared to the usual very high standards we encounter. Cleanliness and good staff not an issue. Excellent. Location is also really good. However, it feels like a retro visit to 1986. Tiles and furniture really need updating. Breakfast, not the usual buffet style, was very well cooked.

Came down for family wedding. Stayed here night before. Had a lovely sleep and a gorgeous breakfast. Son loved exploring around hotel and little park. Stay at a different hotel the following night and wish we had stayed a premier inn for second night.

The rooms are in a utilitarian block behind an old Manor House. There is no lift, so being disabled, I have to have a ground floor room. The room was dark, facing almost directly on to a wall, and the bed was a double, not the king sized that premier Inn usually provide. Our friends room was the same. The...

Beds are too small width and length and uncomfortable. No lift so had to carry everything for a 6 month old baby up stairs whilst carrying said baby. Breakfast have to order with waitress who couldn't find....and we went down very early as we were hungry.
