Stayed here for one night when visiting old friends. I lived in Carlisle for many years so know the town very well and knew the location of East View was ideal for access to the town centre and easy to get to from the M6 motorway. It was a very wet and cold day (June!) when I arrived and I...

I stayed here for 4 nights whilst attending a course nearby. I had booked a single room, but was upgraded to a double, which was a lovely gesture. The room was spotlessly clean, with modern décor. I had to spend a lot of time in there studying in the evening, and I found it comfortable to do so. The host...

There's nothing not to like about this super B&B well situated near the middle of Carlisle. We had an enormous top floor room which was excellently furnished. Outstanding breakfasts topped with welcoming hosts.

I stayed for one night on business. Room was comfortable and well appointed. Host friendly and welcoming. Breakfast great with good choices for the 'non cooked breakfast' types like me! Only issue was a sticking door lock and that was swiftly dealt with at the time and then somebody dispatched to check it out further in the morning. Excellent value...

Well located just 5 minutes from the centre of Carlisle. Very spacious room, comfortable bed and excellent breakfast with a good selection of fresh fruit. After completing our Hardians Wall walk a hot bath was very welcome.

Stayed here Friday night en-route to Newcastle, to say we were impressed would not do it justice, it was exceptional, lovely rooms with delightful bathrooms with great toiletries, a warm welcome and after having slept on the very comfortable bed, a fantastic breakfast, when staying in Carlisle would certainly stay here.

Good service but just a couple of nit picks, but would not stop me from stopping here again. Breakfast is 100% spot on! Only a 10min walk into town, few minute drive to golf course. Good location. Staff very friendly and rooms big.

I stayed here for a evening football game at Carlisle FC. It is ideally located being 8 mins walk from the ground and 8 mins walk from the city centre. The room was large, clean and comfortable and breakfast was excellent. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and the price very reasonable. I would not hesitate to stay here...

The East View Guest house delivered everything I look for in a B and B. The house and my room were sparklingly clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and the breakfast was delicious. Add in an owner and staff who were cheerful and helpful and you have a perfect place to stay.
