We went for afternoon tea to celebrate a relative's 80th birthday. We were welcomed warmly and seated immediately on a table with lovely views. The service was extremely attentive throughout without being pestered. The afternoon tea was served swiftly, beginning with a selection of delicious sandwiches and a pot of tea. Then came scones with butter, raspberry jam and cream....

They had catered for large numbers for mothers day lunches and we suffered for that in the evening when we went for dinner. They had obviously run out of several items. No mash potatoes, frozen yorkshire pudding and frozen roast potatoes. All in all disappointed with meal, as mentioned above obviously the best of food was served at lunch time....
