A nice Bed and Breakfast close to the Hadrian's Wall trail. It is very convenient to pubs and restaurants in Carlisle. You can walk to the center of town for some shopping or sight seeing. A very good breakfast .

We stayed here for 1 night during our recent Hadrian's Wall walking holiday. The guest house was quite large with a wonderful sitting room for guests and a large dining room. The host was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was fairly large with a comfortable double bed and a modern, airy bathroom (shower only). Being situated on a very...

We spent a very comfortable two nights at this guest house. It's within 5-6 blocks of the center of Carlisle (the castle, Tullie House, the cathedral) and near some very good restaurants (especially Alexandros Greek restaurant). Our room was roomy, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. We stayed in several B&Bs while walking the...

Stayed here in August, there were eight of us in total, up for a family gathering. The guest house was extremely clean, well decorated and a lovely breakfast. The landlady was very friendly and very helpful around parking. 10 minutes walk into the city centre and easy to find off the motorway. Carlisle and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. Would...

Breakfast is excellent, full English, bacon, sausage, eggs, yogurt, fruit, cereals, toast, good coffee. Beds are firm, rooms big enough, and all is very clean and well maintained. Stayed after Hadrian's Wall hike, arranged by Contours, then returned after we visited the Lake District. Amiable hostess, on the bus route, or about 20 minute amble to downtown. Comfortable neighborhood.

Excellent and attractive location in Carlisle. Very convenient walk to eateries and all the landmarks of Carlisle. Room was comfortable immaculately clean with everything you could want. There was a guest lounge and all was well decorated and welcoming. Free wifi was good and fast. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful and the coffee was great

We stayed here for one night having walked the Cumbria Way. Our room was large and spotless and decorated to a very high standard. Indeed, if you were writing a book about how to decorate and run a guest house well, you could do worse that visit here. The landlady was friendlily and the breakfast was first class.

My friends (5 of us) stayed here before embarking on a coast to coast cycle ride. The accommodation was clean and nicely presented. The owner was always pleasant and helpful. We stayed out later than we should unfortunately waking her up. Despite this she showed little irritation in the morning going as far as making would be breakfasts into a...

Spent 1 night here whilst walking the Cumbria Way. On arrival we were greeted with a very warm welcome. Our room was on the back of the hotel so was nice and quiet. This hotel is very busy with Walkers, but was spotlessly clean. Good selection at breakfast, the only B & B on our trip to offer Peanut Butter,...

We arrived a bit weary after a long day's walk on the Wall. The room was quite large and comfortable and the shower was lovely. The guesthouse is fairly central so it was only a short walk to some restaurants. There is a large lounge to relax in and the breakfast was good too. Of all the places we stayed...
