What a very nice B & B. A lovely welcome and afforded a very comfortable room at very good rates. This was all topped by a classic breakfast which set me up for the rest of the day. The hosts were very friendly, without being gushing and were clearly proud of the service and establishment that they run. This is...

I stayed at Cornerways Guest House for my graduation at the University of Cumbria. It was like being at home from home. The breakfast is great. Friendly owners who go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and will not hesitate to walk the extra mile for you. I can recommend it without hesitation

Stayed here overnight when we were visiting friends. Was met by a wonderfully friendly man named Tom, who was just the perfect B&B host! If we had anything to ask or needed anything, he was there to help. Our room was spacious and homely, bathroom sparkling clean, and bed lovely and comfy. Breakfast was so tasty - fresh, and very...

The building itself is in a very nice area of Carlisle, with a very short walk to the town centre, with a couple of nice lounge bars and a good selection of restaurants . Plenty of off-street parking, the guest house supplies a free parking permit. Tom, who...

We ended up driving from Gillingham to Carlisle following a game of Soccer Saturday Roulette! Adele and Tom looked after us like we were their own family! They never judged us (despite being 20 something blokes). So hospitable, caring and friendly! Would highly recommend to anyone within a 7 hour vicinity (we are sadly 7 and a half!) Cornerways is...

Had a very enjoyable stay at Cornerways, and found it very convenient for a short walk to the centre of Carlisle. Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed a delicious English breakfast, with superior sausages.

Very welcoming and friendly new owners, nothing was too much trouble. Two of us arrived by bicycle and stayed as a stopover on the Hadrian's wall cycleway. Secure bike storage, fabulous vegetarian breakfast.
