DO NOT STAY HERE!! Hotel is run down, dirty and hotel staff were rude! Me and my partner were woken at 1:15am by another couple who entered are room. When reported to reception they told me that there was only one key for each room (evidently not) He then asked why I hadn't reported it at the time, it was... More

Ive stayed a couple of times at this hotel, ironically in the same room! The staff are efficient and friendly. The room is basic, but has a great bath and shower (good water pressure). The location is perfect - being 3 mins walk to the station into Manchester / metrolink. There is a costa next door, so if you don't... More

Arrived last night first thoughts.. OMG. The receptionist was lovely but that about it. Got to the room it was an absolute dated disgrace the windows was minging, don't think the place had seen Polish or a hoover in its life. The mirror had a massive crack up it and to top it off the bed was like sleeping on... More

We went for a weekend to Altrincham, my home town. This hotel is near to (walkable) Altrincham, but not overpriced, easy to find, and plenty of food and drink/life nearby. The room was nicely clean and had lotsy of space. Plenty of hot water and a good shower. The foyer staff were also friendly and helpful. We didnt drink in... More

What a hell hole! Do not stay here! Its disgusting check my pic's looks like... More

Stayed here the night before our early flight ,we found it through Holiday Extras, admittedly it was cheap for hotel and a week's parking but it is stated as being a 3☆ hotel ,I would not described it as such. They don't serve evening meals but admittedly there are plenty if places around there to eat. The only good thing... More

Around twenty minutes from the airport, The room was not clean, the curtains were like rags all ripped and torn. The bed was uncomfortable and made a noise every time you moved, The windows were the old steel type that was jammed open, and had green mold all round. I definitely would not stay here again, budget hotel or not.

We used this hotel as a one night stopover after late flights. Firstly it is not really an airport hotel as it is miles away. The site says 1.3 or something but that would be by air!. It cost almost £20 in a taxi on Sunday night rates. The hotel itself is pretty much as described in every other review,... More

I booked on behalf of a charity that I run in my spare time. We are a registered charity and had fundraised a lot of money to attend an event in Manchester. We booked 7 rooms at the Britannia Ashley Hotel, and were appalled by this hotel. On arrival our disabled guests were expected to climb 3 stairs to get... More
