Delta Hotels Heathrow Windsor is conveniently located near Heathrow Airport and major motorways, making it a popular choice for many guests, though its location has been occasionally questioned. While the hotel prides itself on cleanliness and offers tidy, spacious rooms, some guests have expressed concerns over high costs for additional services and parking.
The amenities divide opinion, with the executive lounge receiving praise, yet some view the rooms as outdated. Service experiences range from exceptional to underwhelming, and while the atmosphere can feel dated, the clean environment is consistently recognized.

Detailed Reviews
I was staying here last weekend for an event that I was attending, the hotel was nice, the rooms were nice, breakfast had a good selection, though I wish they had more of a vegan selection but they did sort me out something even if it wasn't there like vegan sausages and taking dairy out of one of the menu items from the bar menu.
Now communication problems, when we arrived they asked if we wanted our rooms cleaned during the weekend and we said yes, apparently they didn't put it in the memo on the computer or something because they never showed up, well not untill we went to reception and said which prompted them to clean it and that was Saturday about 4pm, Sunday the same, it got to nearly half 4 and still nothing and the receptionist said there was some miscommunication when wanting the rooms cleaned but they got too it at like 5pm. One of the staff men came in to empty the bins and toilet roll and even he said there was difficulty communicating with the cleaners because of the language barrier. Anyway they got the room cleaned in the end.
I'm not one for being fussy and if they didn't say anything at reception about wanting the rooms then fair enough but if your going to ask then you should do the job.
Now that wasn't the only problem, now I'm not saying the staff didn't do anything to attend to our needs but variety even to the simplest of things would be great, we were at the bar and wanted a jacket potato but wanted to change the sour cream option to beans and the staff woman had to check with the chef and I mean really? It's not like your going to run out as you serve it for breakfast and it's not like it would of been a price difference. Anyway after checking it was fine.
My mum wanted a coffee with cream but apparently they wouldn't do the cream, I she also wanted a one shot coffee but still damn strong even with the milk they gave us.
But like when talking to some of the staff it's like you have to repeat yourself a few time to try and get what you want, it's like they know key words and stuff but not what your trying to get across as a whole.
In the end all I'm saying is they need more training and communication and a bit more teamwork and understanding English a bit better. So maybe do a bit of roleplay in English abit and a bit of more to the menu for those with a dietary restrictions.
The hotel was nice and I can see the staff do work hard, there's no complaint there, they just need help more with communication especially those who are not very fluent in English, that's all I'm saying.

We spent 2 nights at the Hotel as part of an organised trip with Omega Holidays. Our room was excellent with 2 large beds. The fridge was empty but working should we need it. There was an Icebucket in the room and directions to the Ice machine. An important consideration on New Years Eve!
Breakfasts were splendid with plenty of choice and lots of Staff to bring fresh Tea and Coffee as needed.
I was very impressed with all the staff we encountered. They were cheerful friendly and helpful. I wonder if that denotes good management?
The Hotel was busy with lots of coach parties but seemed well used to coping with large numbers.
On New Years Eve for our Gala Dinner we were seated 10 to a table and enjoyed meeting other travellers. The food was simple, which was wise considering the number of people to be served, Mushroom Soup, which tasted home made, followed by Supreme of Chicken with Green Beans. Both courses served hot. Dessert was Chocolate Torte. There were alternatives for those with special food needs. Coffee to finish. Service was excellent. We had Party Poppers on the table and Fizz at Midnight. Food was served at 8pm and the Disco started at 10pm.
It was great to join in with everyone to sing Auld Lang Syne.
Next morning lots of people were milling around to get onto their various Coaches but once again the Hotel staff were on hand to provide help if needed.
My thanks to all the Hotel Staff and Happy New Year to them. They deserve it.

Stayed for two nights with 3 children for Legoland
Not stayed at the Marriott and arrived 2 hours early. I came to the front desk and a lovely receptionist by the name of Krishna had a very positive warmth about him when I explained that I was 2 hours early but wanted to ask where I could take the kids whilst waiting for checkin. Krishna informed me the room was ready and I could check in straight away. He also upgraded my and my family to free breakfast and we had access to the lounge which supplied food and drinks for guests over 16.
The room itself is very comfortable. I don't sleep well on the first night in a strange place but I was gone on day one.
The shower has enough power and me and my children were very happy
Breakfast was a delight lots to choose from to satisfy fussy eaters
All staff were happy and said hello en route to breakfast.
I felt the staff were very attentive. When I checked into the suite (which I booked) there were no bedding and after a quick call these were supplied. The room had two large televisions with freeview channels, free bottles of water and tea and coffee machine.
I would definitely stay here again and at a Marriott abroad because of Krishna. He made my stay so much more enjoyable. Great guy and I hope he receives some form of commendation for his positive and helpful attitude.

Outstanding welcome when we arrived - we felt so valued as customers. Room upgrade was great. Staff in the bar were helpful and friendly. Food came promptly, was hot and freshly cooked. Room was very dark and very quiet - a tad tired but extremely comfortable. We were en route to friends in Berkshire and this was an excellent stop over.

Statues twice here in February 2020. Clearly had not been renovated for some time and in need of some love in the rooms. Stayed in an executive room which has lounge access. Small lounge with snacks and free drink between 5:30 and 7:30pm. Breakfast is served in lounge except weekends when you can access the buffet.
Although it was run down it was clean the first visit. The second time was completely different.
Has checked in online and requested extra pillows etc as we did the first time. On arrival to the room there were no extra pillows and the bedroom area had three of the five bulbs not working.
We asked on our way to dinner for this to be sorted and to their credit it was sorted in our return. However what really let this place down was the cleanliness of the bathroom. It had not been cleaned properly and there were huge clumps of hair in the shower curtain and towels and stains on the bath. We contacted the hotel via their app and they said they would speak to us in check out. We mentioned it in check out and there didn’t appear any knowledge of our issue. It is one of the cheaper Marriott but I would sooner pay the extra and stay on their Heathrow one or one of the Sheraton’s in Heathrow.

I would be hard pressed to call this a 4-star hotel, but I’ll start with the good. Staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet is good. Nothing special about the suites but mine had a refrigerator and safe. Good number of TV channels, only 8 or so did not work.
Complement – Veronica. She worked the breakfast most days I was there. She was delightful to talk to, was very polite, helpful and professional. I hope she receives acknowledgement for how great she was each early morning.
No coffee maker, just a hot water pot for tea and freeze-dried coffee packets that never taste good. Along the front of the building, you can’t enter the hotel from the stair exits. You must walk through the daily rain enter from the lobby.
The parking lot is poorly designed. There is only one in and out and when exiting, you must drive around the entire hotel complex. The parking spaces are very skinny which encourage door dings and you are charged 15 pounds each day to park. Disappointed hotel guests are charged just to stay there.
As for the executive lounge, don’t bother if it’s an upgrade charge. They offer 1 type of beer and 1 red/white wine. The hot food is mostly chopped potato with something dumped on them. Nothing even close to a bar appetizer. Add large glass jars of old peanuts and chips plus some soda pop, a few juices and that’s about it. By far, the most low-end Marriott exec club I have been in and after 4 years of international travel, I’ve been in many Marriott lounges.
Finally, I participated in their Green program where they only come to your room once every 3 days. On day 4, Still no housekeeping service. I had to go to reception to have them correct this issue plus I’m on the phone with Marriott right now because the 4,000 Green points I earned have not be credited to my account.

Dear Guest Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your valuable feedback & recognising our associates. All bedrooms are equipped with Tea & Coffee facilities and we provide variety of tea , coffee sachets in the bedroom. There are three entrances to the hotel located in front and from car park. Most of the stair exits are fire exit doors in the building as per safety requirements for all guests and associates. The car park entrance & exit are one way system to ensure we are comply with the traffic rules to protect any incidents. We have many rates that include Parking but at £15 for 24 hours it remains competitive. parking in Heathrow or nearby area ranges from £15-£35 per day We have taken your feedback about executive lounge and will review our offerings to our guests. I will appreciate if you please share your reservation details so I can look into the green choice points and will process to your bonvoy account. Please send booking confirmation at mhrs.lhrsl.ays@marriotthotels.com Once again thank you for sharing your feedback and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Heathrow Windsor Marriott in the near future. Excellent experience every time - I rarely leave reviews, even more so when I’ve had a good experience but I have to stay that since staying at this marriot quite often the service in particular is outstanding. From the time you walk in to the door you’re looked after.
Fiona who works in the bar in particular is outstanding - an absolute credit to the hotel! Goes the extra mile to make sure you know the WiFi, have all the available menus and gives recommendations, checks you know where breakfast is and offers water at the end for the room.
Will book here for all future stays for London.

For £150 a night I would expect a lot more than this. I’ve stayed in hotels half the price and lower star rating with better standards and amenities than this place. I don’t know how they think it’s acceptable to charge £6 for a mini hairspray and £25 to have a room service curry. It was like a ready meal and really dry, wasn’t even nice. There was barely any water coming out of the shower head so it was really hard to even have a shower. It wasn’t even a proper shower room like you get in nice hotels, just a shower head over a bath like you’d have at home. Genuinely shocked at the majority of the reviews for this place. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels before and this was disappointing in every way. I had planned on having a word with the manager but I didn’t have time to as I was on a work trip. The staff weren’t welcoming and friendly like you’d expect in a hotel either. They create an uncomfortable atmosphere when you approach the reception. Most of them didn’t seem to know much about customer service and looked miserable, infact they gave a feeling that they’d talk about you behind your back as soon as you walk away, not professional at all. The only good thing was the breakfast, the food was nicely cooked and there was a good selection. Apart from that I didn’t enjoy my stay and I couldn’t wait to leave.

having won the Valentine's competition we arrived for our stay last night.
It was a lovely surprise when we arrived last night to find we had access to the Executive Lounge and we spent some relaxing time in there being very looked with complimentary beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks.
we were a little disappointed that the main restaurant was closed but the food we had in the bar was lovely and the cocktails were wonderful!
Our room in the Executive level was spacious and comfy with everything you would need for a one night or much longer stay.
there was a huge selection of choice for breakfast and my request for poached eggs was fulfilled with no questions.
Had we arrived earlier we would have taken advantage of the pool, steam room and sauna.
We have had a lovely stay and look forward to coming back another time

As a frequent traveller, I must express my profound disappointment with my recent stay at the Delta Hotel Windsor. While the lobby area may have undergone renovations, the rest of the hotel, particularly the rooms, failed to meet even the most basic standards of comfort and quality.
Firstly, let me address the misleading name of the hotel. Despite being called Delta Heathrow/Windsor, it's nowhere near Windsor. It's a staggering 90-minute walk away from Windsor, which is utterly misleading and inconvenient for tourists expecting proximity to the town.
Moving on to the rooms, they were far from satisfactory. Outdated furnishings, lacklustre amenities, and an overall dingy atmosphere left much to be desired. It's evident that the rooms have not received the same attention as the lobby area and are in dire need of a full renovation to meet modern standards of hospitality.
Furthermore, the executive lounge, touted as a premium perk, was a major letdown. The food offered during the happy hour was abysmal, possibly the worst I've ever encountered at a Marriott hotel. The quality of hors d'oeuvres hardly qualifies as a "premium" experience.
Overall, my stay at the Delta Hotel Windsor was a regrettable experience. I urge management to prioritise a comprehensive renovation to bring the entire hotel up to par with the expectations of discerning travellers. Additionally, a truthful representation of the hotel's location would spare future guests the frustration of being misled.

We didn’t venture out of the hotel as we arrived about 5-00. Had something to at at the hotel and then went back to our room. There seemed to ge a few shops close by and there was a Tiby carvery opposite but other than that don’t think there was much to see or do. No idea about public transport either.
Suggest you take a bus or taxi to Heathrow bus station and then catch National Express. You’ll need to book the coach in advance.
