Wedding party went to stay at the hotel had 22 rooms booked and many problems occurred through out our stay. Firstly, one room given had a broken bed, informed staff however they failed to do anything about it. Secondly, another room had a blocked bath tub and we told receptionist about it and they told us the maintenance team will...

My wife and I had just returned from New York and there were no trains available so decided to stay in Slough. We had not stayed at the Baylis before so we thought it looked good on the internet so we thought we would give it a go. From the moment we arrived the staff were absolutely brilliant, they could...

We booked through booking.com so can't complain at all about the price but would have been very disappointed if we'd have paid what it should be. Most staff ok, the man who did the bar and breakfast (Paul) made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble and he was brilliant with my 8 year old. The building itself...

Stayed for one night only but would not come back. I don't mind basic accommodation but this one has lumpy beds & old thin pillows that make for a bad sleep. Room in need of refresh, bathroom door does not fit frame and won't shut, windows painted shut etc. We could hear someone snoring next door clearly through the thin...

Razor thin pillows, cold breakfast, unfriendly reception (acts more like a security guard), walls are paper thin so you hear everyone snoring, toaster doesn't work, not enough food cooked, such cheap nasty finishes on everything, looks like everything has been done as cheaply as possible. Try and avoid this at all costs

I have stayed a week in this hotel that is ideally located for working in Windsor, Eton or Slough. The buildings are very nicely presented and a lovely fountain greats you as you enter through the main gates. There were a few let downs for me though, the main being that the room vas very small and the door to...

I stayed at this hotel from 26th Feb to 05 March. Attended family friends wedding. The overall experience was great. The Hotel building has a lot of character which is easily seen from the pictures. Was a bit sceptical after reading the reviews but finally decided to stay in the same hotel where the wedding was booked after knowing the...

I checked on Trip Advisor after I had booked a room for a one night stay so I was a little bit concerned about what I would find. The room was a little small but very comfortable and warm. Beautiful setting and the staff were helpful. I thought that we would only be having a continental breakfast but there was...

Shabby and worn out interior. Our room had a fusty smell. I'm sure you could smell the drains in the bathroom, there was no knobs on the cupboard draws the tv remote batteries where held in with tape and most of the buttons didn't work. The bed had the smell of years of sweat permiating up from the mattress. And...
