We've lost count of the number of times we've visited this hotel - but it just gets better and better. The staff are as friendly as ever, the location and building are idyllic, the food is faultless. The breakfast is even better than on previous visits.

Guests Hunters Moon Georgian Country Hotel all appear to be regulars which says a lot about this traditional hotel set in its own grounds on the edge of a local park. It is certainly not one of those plastic places seen on the internet. Family run this hotel offers a unique charm with a quite and relaxed atmosphere ideal for...

After one night staying at Hunters Moon Hotel we wanted to stay the week! Unfortunately we couldn't so will return soon. Such a friendly, comfortable place to stay, where you were made so welcome from the moment you walked in the door. The bed and room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding.

When we arrived we were not sure that this place was for us as it appeared a bit dated and out of touch. By the end of the week, however, we were most satisfied. We stopped on a B&B basis walking into town each evening where you will find a wide selection of places to eat. The breakfast at this...

The location is great and affords a great walk into town. The breakfast was as good as it gets with really good ingredients cooked perfectly. The bar is good...

Booked two nights here at very short notice and got a single room at a very reasonable rate. The building is old but the interior is clean and well-decorated. From my room there was a nice view overlooking the large garden adjoining the public park. The service from the waiters/waitresses was very friendly and efficient. I could not fault the...

Service was excellent. Food very good and a varied menu. Room was spacious and clean. Only slight observation was that it seemed like entering an old people's home on arrival. Lots of wheelchairs and zimmer frames in evidence. However there were a good mix of guests from teenagers to old ones like us! Certainly the best place we have stayed...

Excellent location, in a park near the River Sid. 10 minute walk to beach past excellent range of shops. Owners are determined to ensure you enjoy your stay and are very helpful. whilst this hotel seems to appeal to older guests, don't let it put you off - means you get very peaceful holiday, with people who are very friendly,...
