The room was dusty we had no electricity then when the receptionist came to change the bulbs she put her finger through the lamp shade, the curtain rail was broken, there was blood and mould on the net curtains, the door was falling off the wardrobe and there was no hot water!!! Will be getting me money back 😡😡 Room...

After finding a good deal on booking.com, I rang up to double check about additional fees for a dog. It was only a fiver for the whole stay unlike all others at £10 a night. Don't expect the hotel to be perfect in the way of decor. I spent many a moment thinking how easy it would be to fix...

We stayed here in Nov and the weather was quite chilly but our room was warm . We had to book a budget room but it had everything you could need and the bed was comfy and the bedding nice and fresh. The furniture was a little tired looking and the room could do with updating but everything worked ,...

I stayed here for 4 nights. My room was spacious, clean and welcoming. Very good value for money, with the ensuite- and the big fluffy towels were lovely too! I didn't have breakfast but it was good to know that I could just turn up at breakfast time and order one! Everyone was very friendly and polite.

Not the highest quality hotel I've stayed in but value at the price. Stayed there whilst in town for a reunion which we held in the bar on Saturday afternoon. The staff were friendly and coped well with over 30 of us in the bar on the Saturday afternoon whilst running reception and setting up for an engagement party. Had...

We've stayed before and will stay again, this being our preferred hotel in Scarborough. Handily located on South Cliff but close to the town and all local attractions. Literally minutes from the town centre across either the Valley or Spa bridges (use the latter, it's far and away the more elegant and offers better views). Anyway, back to the hotel;...

What can I say, I booked this for myself, wife and my friends and was so embarrassed when I saw the state of the rooms, I know it's cheap, so I didn't expect a palace. But there is no need for the rooms to be dirty, the shower had mould around the tray and door the shower head needed to...

Arrived at reception to be greeted to a remark " I was doing some admin but I suppose I could book you in" made us feel very welcome. Room was grubby, very tired and no headboard, very small, no mirror near the sink and no where to put your toiletries or hang up your bathtowel. Bed and linen was very...

This has to be the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in. When we arrived the receptionist had trouble booking us in as she said she was busy doing her paperwork (How-Rude). The reason they received one star was the beer was drinkable. But I have to say it was very very dirty stains and dust every where. The water...

Basic hotel but clean. Has a lift. Continental breakfast was adequate. friendly staff. Friday night entertainment. Close to local shops. Not too far from hill lift down to the buses. A pleasant walk to town centre. Bit of a hill climb back to hotel from town
