Stayed here for two nights as part of a hen party. We took over a large portion of the guesthouse, but there was a family staying there also. Don't worry, we are nice & respectful hens! A great short break with my 8 year old daughter. We returned for the 5th year running now. Fantastic hospitality, rooms lovely and clean. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Scarborough now. Took my mum etc last year and they all loved it too. Very accomodating. If you love a good family atmosphere and a fab full english the Derwentdale Guest...

when looking at the reviews of this guest house i was amazed to see 2 bad reveiws , this guest house is exellent and the value is second to none , cereece and stuart do anything for you and do there upmost to make your stay as good as it can be.its a clean tidy guest house and the food...

Love it! Probably the millionth time we have visited this guesthouse and booked again for April and May! Lovely people, great atmosphere, Fantastic food and perfectly clean rooms. Nothing is too much for Cereece (the lady who own's the guesthouse) she always goes out of her way to help wether it be extra towels or a drink of tea. I...

Had .another great week at the derwentdale.Always received with a warm and friendly greeting.Nothing too much trouble,always ready to accomodate your requests.The food is excellent with more than generous servings and is all home cooked.Every aspect of service in the guesthouse is also excellent.
