My wife and I stayed here for one night before a funeral. Not the best start for an evening away but... The hotel is in beautiful surroundings and it extremely convenient for Scarborough and the Yorkshire coast. The room was very comfortable and had every convenience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was very good with an interesting...

Equally as impressive is the welcome by the staff who showed us to our room Room 2 has a wonderful view across the grounds. The room is well appointed with...

We all met in the bar and four of our company were staying but we were only there for the celebration meal. Daniel, who took our drinks order, was polite and efficient and supplied our exact requests very quickly. It goes without saying that Anne was, as always, at her best. She always manages to make everyone in the party...

Beautiful setting for a lovely country hotel. Some areas are still tired but they are on a revamp program. Service excellent, restaurant very good. Lovely original artworks. Shame there is not a cocktail menu in the bar.

Wrea Head Hall is clearly stunning from the pictures. It is so much better to experience first hand. From the sweeping drive, the hall comes into view and it is every bit as beautiful as it looks. The interior too is tatseful throughout. We stayed in room 12 and honestly couldn't fault it. Dinner was magnificent and the waiting staff...

We stayed for one night - bed, breakfast and evening meal on the recommendation of family who stay frequently over the Christmas period. The impressive drive up to the Hall along with the warm reception of the staff upon arrival created a great first impression. Our room (15) was very tastefully decorated. The ensuite was warm and inviting. During our...
