Going by the other reviews on this hotel perhaps we were just unlucky but we were not overwhelmed by this hotel. Yes it is in a lovely setting, and the bar and lounge areas are comfortable and relaxing. Our room was also comfortable and although the bathroom was poky , it was well fitted and there was no shortage of...

Thank you for your comments on our Hotel, It was a very busy sunny bank holiday weekend with both guest and non-residents using the hotel’s terrace and conservatory, This does extend the number of tables in use. As a small hotel with a small team of staff it can be particularly challenging with both check-ins and people wanting afternoon tea...

We have visited Scarborough and surrounding visitor sites many times but this was our first visit to the Wrea Head Hall Hotel - the webpage for booking was excellent and we can both confirm that our chosen bedroom room 19 (as seen on the web) more than matched the room in reality clean, comfortable with a lovely view and quiet....

We first stayed at the Wrea Head Hotel in the early 1990s.after we had previously stayed in it's sister Hotel the Holbeck Hall in Scarboro,( before it fell into the sea!) they were both very old but beautiful Hotels. We decided to try the spring special offer from the Wrea Head to see how the place compared to 20 years...

stayed in this hotel for four nights,on arival greeted in a frendly way,shown to room which was clean andgood size,good breckfast,set in nice well kept grounds near to cost and moors,dinner plenty to chose from on menu food and service excellent, a nice place to relax, whud recommend ,thank for a good stay with you

We stayed for one night . Wish it could have been longer.The service was excellent, the room had a nice view over the gardens.The food was excellent and plenty of variety on the menu.Will recommend this hotel and we will both use it again.

We stayed for 2 nights 28th and 29th April at this lovely Country House Hotel a short drive from Scarborough. We stayed here in February for our second wedding anniversary. We got a fabulous all inclusive deal and were delighted. The hotel is in the process of being lovingly refurbished by new private owners who are working through room by room. The restoration and refurbishment did not affect us as at all. We stayed one night in one of the refurbished rooms, with a roll top bath in the bedroom. The mullioned windows gave views over beautiful parkland, a very peaceful, restful location. The food and the sevice overall were excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
