The cottage was not only wheelchair friendly, but dog friendly too. Our 2 black labs had a great time on the beaches of Sandsend at Whitby, & North Bay at Scarborough. We visited the NYMR for a steam train ride over the Moors to Pickering & back, which my son loved, and also visited Goathfield (of Heartbeat fame) & had...

Words simply cannot describe how much of a lovely place The Grainary is! The accommodation is to very high standards as well as the staff who simply cannot do enough for you! We have stayed here twice now in a family room and recently in a cottage as a family get away to celebrate our daughters first birthday. The staff...

Treated like Royalty by friendly staff and made to feel at home. Spotless accommodation, wonderful Yorkshire scenery and lovely meals with time for cake in-between! Assorted livestock to keep us entertained, and walks (and football) with the 3 farm dogs. Our next 4 visits are already booked!

Just stayed for a long weekend in Foxglove cottage with our 2 grandchildren aged 7 and 11. The cottage was so spacious, there was loads of room in the kitchen/dining room, lounge enormous and loads of room in each of the bedrooms. The cottage was very clean with everything that you would need for your stay. The children loved the...

We'll never forget the friendly welcome from the staff and sheepdogs! Beautiful views of Harwood Dale with Scarborough Castle on the horizon. We enjoyed visiting cows, pigs, goats, rabbits and geese and we had a lovely 10 minute walk to a small lake with ducks and geese. Our daughter could run around in the play area and make new friends....
