I stayed here with a bus load of friends. We were helped into the hotel by the staff as Very strong winds nearly blew us away. The care of the staff continued throughout our stay. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The meals were good. And entertainment was provided each evening. Couldn't ask for more. Would I stay again?... ABSOLUTELY....

Just returned from this Hotel. The views were stunning, the Hotel very clean, the staff extremely helpful, polite and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast was exceptional. The location is excellent with stunning views of the sea or Castle. Would we stay here again? Absolutely 100%, no hesitation. Many thanks for a fabulous stay.

Requested a sea view room with twin beds and this is what we got. View excellent, food on first night awful but redeemed themselves on second night. Breakfasts very good. My bed felt every spring so not good sleep quality. Bathroom diabolical, very small and shower curtain blew open because of fan. Josh in dining room nice helpful guy and...

Great hotel we had a sea view room, which was a decent size, shower a bit small but that was ok, fabulous breakfast. Paper shop round the corner, and about 5 minutes walk to the main shops. Took about 10 minutes to walk to the south shore. Excellent location. Thank you.

This hotel was very good value for money. The staff, the food and the entertainment were very good. We would go back again. Very enjoyable. We had a lovely sea view which was amazing. We did not even have to carry our luggage as the staff took it straight to our room.

Although I would have liked a room with a view I enjoyed my stay here. The food was good and I found the staff were all lovely. I would return here again. It is right near the beach and within walking distance of the south beach.

We were on a coach tour with David Urquhart and didn't expect a 5 star hotel (and we didn't get one). Our room was small (but adequate), had no sea view (but we weren't in it for long periods), had dated decor (but clean - especially the bed linen and big fluffy white towels). The shower room was very small...

Having read some reviews on here about the hotel I did have mixed feeling about the palace. On arrival we were met by the owner who seemed very rushed and did not listen to questions being asked he just wanted onto next customer. My back did not arrive at room, when I asked about this I was told that it...

Visited as part of David Urquhart tour. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms in need of refurbishment. Beds had no valances and divan bases were filthy to look at although bed linen was clean. We had a sea view which was lovely but bathroom was extremely small and narrow. Not much space to move. Plastic shower curtain and plastic...
