We booked a mini break in February, Travelled to Scarborough in storm Doris (that was an experience) On arrival at the Palm Court Hotel we were welcomed by a lovely friendly receptionist, our room was small but adequate, nice and warm and very quiet. We opted for the breakfast and evening meal, the food was really good. The Yorkshire breakfast...

Booked a table for afternoon tea at Palm Court after a recommendation. Very disappointed. There were three of us. We asked for one of the afternoons teas to have the savoury scone option. Tea was luke warm, the small cakes seemed like they had been left out all day and were a bit stale. The savoury option was missing the...

Booked the glaisdale suite as it was special occasion. Upon entering the Palm and from outside it looks lovely, nice cosy lounge and seating area, check in was smooth and informative and pleasant. Unfortunately when we reached our suite the hotel went downwards. Plus points were spacious room, clean with large comfy bed , that's it. It was February and...

The staff were all lovely and friendly and the breakfast selection was good with a buffet style offering and then a menu for...

Thank you for your comments surrounding your stay with us here at the Palm Court. I do apologise that the Hotel did not meet your expectations. Having said that I also feel that your comment concerning the 'residents' is somewhat unjust. As a business we are open to all walks of life and welcome all guests without bias or judgement....

Went for a weekend to celebrate a special birthday. Public rooms are very good and extremely warm but bedroom could do with some attention. Single glazed, draughty windows led to a cold and very noisy room. On the Saturday night we got no sleep until . After 2.30 am and were woken by seagulls shortly after 5 a.m. secondary double glazing...

We stayed for 2 nights in room 17. The room was functional, small, but it did the job. There was not a view to speak of, so the room was often dark. The breakfast was decent, there was a large range to choose from. The staff at breakfast, in reception and at the bar were all very friendly and courteous.
