My wife and I visited in early evening and were impressed by the refurbished pub, and the drinks and food available. A selection of real ale was available in a good atmospheric pub. We will put this on our list of places to visit next time we are in town.

we did not stay here but we called in for a lovely Sunday lunch, very reasonable price, all fresh and made from scratch, puddings were cheap and very nice too, nice friendly bar staff, very nice pub, clean throughout and spacious.

Came in here for Sunday dinner absolutely lovely. 7.95 each I had roast beef and the other half had roast chicken both served with roast potatoes mashed potatoes parsnips massive Yorkshire puddings stuffing and peas. You get a choice of either onion gravy or beef gravy. All in all very nice. The pub itself has just been done up and...

Found this place whilst out walking and as new place since last in, checked it out. Bar is comfy and beer is good. Excellent place to stumble into. ☺️ Decor is clean and enough TV's to sink a ship with. Great if a sports fan

I dont know Scarborough but thought this pub looked good from the outside. It was eqally good inside. I think it has recently had a make over but the character has been kept. Friendly bar staff. Good food. Good beer for me wine for Mary, you will not be disapointed if you visit.

The Dickens Bar is close to a flat we have bought in Scarborough so we tried out the food there one cold and rainy lunchtime recently. Since we had been attracted by the "two meals for £11.00" offer our expectations were not high but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the service. The food on...

Stopped off for a quick drink & spent the evening here! Great atmosphere excellent staff & first class beers, it was a Friday evening & the resident DJ was playing our style of music from the 60's & 70's, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves no matter their age, seemed to be a great many locals, would definitely recommend it...
