Myself and 8 friends stayed Fri to Sun. We were on a murder mystery weekend which was amazing but this review is for the hotel. The first thing I noticed was the heat in the hotel, it was constantly sweltering. Once we'd checked in and got to the room I noticed there was a wet patch on the bathroom floor...

Its a budget type hotel. So expect budget and you will be pleasantly surprised. The lift can be temperamental. Works...

To be honest the Clifton closes for a couple of months due to bookings given priority to the Grand.. I would recommend they shut the grand down And spend some money on it this is miles...

I think it must depend which room you end up in as to how you find it. Our room was spotless. The bed was comfortable. We stayed a very cold weekend, and my only criticism is everywhere was so hot! The radiator was on all night and it was too hot. That said I'd rather be hot than cold. This...

Got moved to this hotel as the Grand hotel had over booked. It's a basic hotel witch requires re decorating. Our room was OK clean but the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom was Baltic but the room was warm. The Bar area was freezing cold and the bar staff moaned constantly about having to deliver room service...
