Staff were very nice. Checked in very early in the day and left luggage with them. When I got back later in the day they had already taken it up to the room. Good position along Queens Parade with nice views over North Bay - and not too far to walk into town. Reasonable choice at Breakfast, but leaning more...

After reading some reviews I was a bit worried but pleasantly surprised when checked in. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Nothing is a bother to them. Room was immaculate and so comfortable but only one observation was not a seawiew as described on the key card. I would suggest that they re-name the rooms on ground floor as sea...

This a great hotel, retaining an old style but with modern refurb. We had a great, 4th floor family room with views all round, comfortable, clean and warm. Great reception and downstairs area for tv/bar/food. Great location as well. Whoever stayed below us spoilt it slightly as they were obviously smoking as in the early hours as we could smell...

The sensational sunshine set the scene for our brief stay while sorting out some caravan repairs. Great value, fab seaside views and perfect location. The staff were warm and welcoming and the breakfast was smashing. If you don't book direct ask them for a car parking spot. The only downside was that the lifts weren't working - not good for...

no bigger than, a cat flap the bed was alright, but the room was terrible, and the bath was way to small for me, as i am use to a standard, and this was no mean, a standard bath, you could just about fit an infant, in it, it was terrible, and i did not know that you could change...

Quite a nice hotel with nice views of the beach and the ruins on the cliff across the coast if you get a room facing the front of the building. The floors are rather unstable and slope towards the front of the hotel, but this is expected as it is quite old and is extremely near to the cliff's edge....

I too was there for the scooter rally weekend as where half the hotel, as soon as our party arrived I noticed the sign saying lift out of action which is not good being that there is 5 floors especially if your were in your senior years and were on the upper level as we were (played havoc with me...

Reading through the past reviews I think some of these reviews have been very unfair from my view, yes the hotel is old and needs updating but the decor is neutral and the hotel is clean, the food is really good, and the variety is good too and self service buffet style, most of the staff are very attentive, the barman...

Stayed at this hotel before, for a previous scooter rally. We all parked our scooters outside an there was no problem. However things have changed. The reception staff were positively anal about the arrival of so many 2 wheeled vehicles, from all corners of the U.K..A crazy reserved system was in place,at £6 a night for cars. But these were all taken, they clearly weren't.Any other spaces...
